Rugby World Cup 2011

Both the Celtic struggle & the Channel battle should be exciting rugby.

i.e Slowly make your way up the field and then when you’re 5 metres away from the line try a dropkick.

How’s your style of rugby been working out during world cups?

Fuckin’ NERVOUS!!!

Wales v Ireland is a total 50/50 match. Its going to come down to some very fine margins!

I doubt I’ll survive this match, win or lose

Great game so far, I fear that IF England get through they won’t beat either of these Celtic teams…esp the ones currently winning. They are playing far superior rugby!

Finally a decent game worth watching!

Absolutely gutted but Wales did themselves a credit.

Ireland didn’t show up so tough shit

Booyah ! Great game from the french for a change.

.

Brilliantly done by the french, i am going to go read sky sports now to hear of all the excuses and why the ref was bad and gloat…

Great so far in this one. How about you?

Yes, how is England’s basic lack of rugby skills working out for them?
Were multiple school boy level handling errors and a shamefully high penalty count all part of the plan?
Was the least creative in the whole tournament, unable to put together an attack, backline part of it too?
No effective counter attack and an inability to make the gain line were in style too I guess.

As for the teams that are good…

The Celtic struggle was a great game. Have to say the welsh looked pretty confident and in control right throughout and did amazingly well defending in about the first 15 mins against a seemingly relentless Irish attack.

Hold your heads up high Irish fans, I reckon your team has done you proud this RWC.

FUCK you bryce lawrence, handed the convicts the game on a plate. Did pocock have to get caught with his hands up habana’s asshole before he got a penalty?

Complete bullshit. South Africa was meant to be playing Australia not the fucking referee!

Nice of you to say but Ireland’s defensive frailties were exposed badly yesterday(ironic seeing as the Irish defence has been so solid in recent months). The Welsh played brilliantly and did themselves and their country proud by playing with passion and confidence. I wish them the very best and genuinely hope they go all the way, they have my support.

I’m a bit surprised that Oz beat SA but they really can be unstoppable. NZ have had the easiest ride to the semi final’s that any team have ever had(in any tournament) but if anybody is to stop them now it’s Oz, the very last people NZ wanted to meet at this stage. I’m very interested how the Kiwi’s will handle the pressure against a fantastic Oz side at this stage of the tournament(the known stumbling block for NZ in RWC’s) without the main man Dan Carter.

Just a pity the French team didn’t actually arrive until yesterday.

The semi’s are going to be great matches folks, I wish all teams the best of luck. Now I’m off to play some rugby!

Excuses, excuses.

The refs calls were skewed and inconsistent. Weather he was bribed or just a moron is another story, fact is he made huge mistakes.

His conduct in the game is going to be looked at.

I have no problems with SA losing, thats part of the game.

Bryce Lawrence fucked up. Fact.

as mentioned, if SA lost to a better team then fair enough.
HOWEVER they dominated oz in every aspect except penalty count and turnovers which were all controlled by … Bryce Lawrence. The oz front row had their heads shoved through their asses yet there was never even so much as a warning.

SA can definitely hold their heads high, they played a fantastic game. If ONE of about 30 penalties would have been called it would have been a different outcome.

Kudos to OZ i hope they fuck up lawrence’s scheming plans and beat the all blacks.

Agreed.

That forward pass where we scored a try, wasn’t. Funny we could see that but couldn’t see hands in the ruck.

Yeah, but I’ve done my bar crawl and fight with tourists and behave like an animal. Now I just wanna sit in a corner and cry.

It was a fucking EPIC game. I coudln’t believe it when half time rolled around and the stat was something like 84% possession and territory to SA! but with not much to show for all that hard graft.

And yes, there have been some dodgy ref decisions right throughout the RWC so far…just like usual.

The Puma’s scored their try off of a BLATANTLY OBVIOUS forward pass for instance.

I agree that Pocock was really taking the piss (now I see why everyone used to get so upset with Mc Caw!) and the ref let him.

Genia had an amazing game and Justin Beiber did his thing.
