Leading up to the 2012/13 Season
Having just finished in April winning the championship, I’m preparing to enter my heavy lifting pre-season workout phase.
I’m a backrow forward, 6’2 and sub in as a lockforward, I want to play more 2nd Row so aiming to add some bulk to this undersized 90kg frame.
Currently lifting at 05:30 before my 9-5 day job, so I figure this is a good logbook for those who are the amatuer athlete.
Mon - Chest/ Bk circuit, biceps
Tues - Leg/ Shld circuit, triceps
Wed - rest
Thurs - Heavy Loads Chest/Bk/ Bi
Fri - Heavy Loads Legs/ Shld/ Tri
Sat - Rest
Sun - Rest/ Light cardio/ Swim
We don’t start our group cardio/ fitness workouts till June so I have 4 weeks to really stack on something, and then I will start to add a team session in on Tuesdays.
