Rows vs. T-Bar vs. Pulley

I have a question about working the back. Do the barbell row, t-bar row, and the cable pulley to the lower abs all work the same area of the back or do they hit it differently?

Also, which is the most beneficial to a beginner? thanks.

minute differences… go with the free weights though, use the pulley as an accessory exercise.

You should probably use a one arm dumbell row… it will blow your upper lat up HUGE! Also, work in some t-bar rows as well… but mostly the one armed dumbell

Use them all druing different times in your training. They are all usefull and the options allow you to change things up when gains with one movement start to stagnate.

I agree with barbell rows being the best for a beginner, just like most muscle groups you usually get the most bang for the buck out of big compound movements with free weights.

In my experience non-chest supported t-bar have done the most for me, they really blast your middle traps and outter lats
