Routine A: 30-10-30, Routine B: ...?

Good evening,

Considering your A routine is full body 30-10-30 - If you were to surprise yourself with a different B routine - as a second workout weekly - what would you choose? Preferably HIT-based? A completely different strategy?

I successfully tried combining Dr Darden’s 30-30-30 and normal cadences before. Would like to try something different this time.

Why I’m asking, is because I experience a tendency getting overtrained with both A and B routines 30-10-30. Forced myself into a “gains week”. The muscles became fuller again after 4-5 days of rest, and today did another great 30-10-30 workout!

I am currently into the works of Brian D Johnston (HDT-training) but have to reflect upon it before implementing anything. May be a candidate for B routine, or perhaps on some excercises only. His take on partial reps, and the science backing up partial reps in experienced trainees looks interesting.

Brian’s material is applicable. I’m interested is seeing how you design a B workout.
