Anytime you put yourself on the road in ANYTHING you are putting your life at risk. The fact that people who drive cars put themselves above people on motorcycles is plain stupid. I ride a motorcycle. I am usually not doing stunts on it. The biggest problem I have is people in cars not paying attention while I’m on the road.
No matter what you do in life, there is a plan for everyone. You could go to sleep at night and some one drives through your house and kills you, does that make you an idiot for going to sleep?
Driving in traffic on a motorcycle can be dangerous, but if you drive defenseively, you might have a shot at making it home alive. Unfortunately, the majority of people do not pay attention where they are going, do not know where they are going, and expect everyone else to yield for them while they pull thier head out of thier asses.
This is very true in Houston. Add all that up and reconsider calling someone an idiot for riding a motorcyle.
I know where I’m going, I know which exit I need to get off on and I don’t expect anyone to yield for me. I’m on a bike, the guy on the other hand must be a fuckin genius, cause not only is he in a car, but he cut across four lanes of traffic doing 70, to get off at an exit he’s not sure he should be getting off of.
