For those of you who’ve seen Ronnie’s “The Cost of Redemption” video, you’ve obviously seen Ronnie’s breakfast fuel: sweetened/flavored instant grits, a slice of processed cheese, and cooked egg whites all mixed together into a gluey paste.
Anyone tried that breakfast, yet? Looks nasty and it looks like Ronnie is kinda forcing himself to eat it. Just curious if anyone’s tried that thing after seeing the video.
I was somewhat surprised at the lack of food in his meals. I know he was precontest but for some reason I was expecting to see him eating 5 lbs of food at each meal. Looked like the average breakfast that I eat and I enjoy it.

I’ll have to watch it again, I’ve only been through it once, but I thought he kept saying that it was off season. I was surprised not only by how little, but what he was eating. Lots of eating out. I think I might be eating more than I saw him eating in that video. Maybe there’s more than what was shown too. He does train hard though.
That whole DVD must have been discussed in these forums somewhere before.
That breakfast is a ton of protein…but yes…if you like grits it’s not bad at all…I just think it’s funny how he just saunters around like a big junkyard dog all day while the camera’s on him…huge SOB!!!

He struck me as a likable guy. I also enjoy his approach to training. Kind of “casually serious”.
