lol while you’ve been getting shitted on, truth is it’s something that he’s always battled with when competing. He’s always stated that he’s had to do massive amounts of cardio when cutting for competition, I guess thats his particular demon since adding muscle comes easier for him than most.

I personally think Coleman looks pretty crappy there - and I’ve never been a fan of his physique. He always looks blocky and his symmetry sucks. Is he an absolute freak? No doubt. Is he incredibly muscled and massive? Absolutely? Does he look “good”? No, not IMO.
And I’m not a troll, an idiot or a half-breed. Some of you need to calm the fuck down whenever you perceive some insignificant slight to your heros…
You should see how they get when you mention equipment, narrow squatting stance, or better yet steroids.

What can I tell you?
I don’t like Coleman’s physique, and never have. I don’t care if aesthetics is “not what he’s known for” - I just don’t like the way he looks. Sorry if that’s offensive to you, but it is what it is.
If voicing my opinion is “Starting shit” then I guess that’s too bad, because I’m not going to feel like I can’t express an opinion if it’s not utter adulation of Ronnie Coleman…

The word crappy can never be used when describing Ronnie Coleman’s physique. Period. Its like lookin at a Ferrari Enzo and caliing it a cheap Italian piece of shit… you just sound retarded. So if thats your opinion about Coleman dont get all butt hurt when we tell you… you’re retarded.
Is it just me or does RC look like a freak??? a bit puffy??? r u serious dude?

I agree. I liked Coleman’s physique (and still do in these very pictures) but this is astonishing. All the guy did was make an anecdotal observation, which I didn’t perceive to be a slight in any way and everyone is acting like he said RC sucks ass now.
We all know he’s past his prime, that doesn’t mean any negative comments we make about his physique are meant to be insulting. They’re just observations we’re making about our people we look up to.
The guy even came back into this thread and apologized and said he wasn’t trying to insult RC, just pointing something out. No big deal.
I thought the thread was just to show some more pics of Ronnie and the OP happened to notice he was looking a little soft. The OP didn’t make any implications that he expected Ronnie to be 280 pounds of pure ripped up muscle for the rest of his life.

Okay, but the thing is, the original observation was ridiculous. Ronnie hasn’t competed in two years, and still looks incredible, regardless of whether or not you like his aesthetics. It’s as if the OP thinks RC or any pro for that matter walks around at 3% BF and dry as a bone year round. Big Ron, even after two years of being retired, simply looks like on off-season bodybuilder who could get peeled in 12 weeks and step proudly onto the Olympia dais. Calling him “puffy” simply because he isn’t competion ready is just silly.

That’s not the point. The man is in his mid 40’s which is impressive in itself that he is still lifting what he is or carrying that much size.
I give him respect for that. Harping on how aesthetic he is after what he has accomplished makes no sense.
You know what dude?
Right now, I’m sauteeing two pounds of ground beef with onions and garlic in peanut oil, with some salt, pepper and worcestershire sauce, and I’m also steaming up a big bowl of rice.
Once that’s done I’m going to mix that motherfucker all up together, and eat a bunch of that shit.
So, what do you have to say about that?
And I never said he didn’t deserve respect for 8 Olympia wins, just that I don’t personally like the way he looks…

Actually, I think I’ll use whatever word I fucking please…

Yup, no arguments there.
Edit: It’s really just a matter of perception. Others seemed like they thought the OP was insulting RC, I just didn’t see it that way.
