I didn’t feel quite as strong but I think it all went alright today. I think I was I bit over tired still from my new schedule…

you sure look strong by the numbers

I was really shaking which usually only happens when I am tired so really it could have been much better.

Is there something else going on? Did you have enough to eat? It could be the new schedule. It could even be something as prosaic as pms.

I have been trying but I never actually get any better. I end up just tiring myself out and barely doing anything.

I am really not sure what it is but somedays are much weaker then others. It may be the new schedule lately but I have always had this issue. I also know that I am not able to eat like I used to which may not be such a bad thing if I keep what I am eating on the healthy side. I have never really found pms to be an issue with me though it is never something I really tracked either…

SLDL 1x8x95, 2x8x145, 2x6x165

BB Curls 1x10x40, 3x8x60, 2x3x70

Back Squat 1x8x65, 1x8x95, 1x5x135, 2x5x145, 2x3x155

Single Leg Split Squat 3x8x45dbs

I have to say that I do not feel the exhaustion with squat that I did with the leg press though it is alot less weight but perhaps I should be squating heavier.

My knees go in a bit on the sets of 155 when I am coming up from the bottom, not sure how to fix that yet as I can’t seem to control it…

One Arm DB Rows 1x5x45, 3x5x55, 2x4x60

Upright Rows 1x8x50, 2x8x60

HS Lat Pull down 1x8x45, 1x8x70, 3x5x80

Cable Rows 1x8x70, 3x8x90

My rigth shoulder was sore from my leg day when I did some BB military presses in between a leg set because I was bored… damnit I need to be more careful with my shoulders…

Deadlift 1x8x135, 1x5x185, 3x5x215, 1x3x225, 1x5x205, 1x10x135sumo

CG Bench Press 1x10x65, 1x5x95, 4x5x115

Tricep pull over 1x5x50

Goblet Squat 1x8x65, 2x8x75

My shoulder was giving me a hard time during everything but DLing so I think I may need to take a break but I haven’t decided yet…

So - just give all the pressing a break and concentrate on pulling. When I was rehabbing my right shoulder, I did no presses with the right at all. But did any kind of pull I could think of…

Don’t you love those higher rep deadlifts?

Yeah, I am still debating if it is necessary… I just like to bench press… if it is still bothering me Monday I will have to at least take that day off and see from there.

It’s fun to do a high rep set at a low weight after doing your working set, it feels like you are fliying :stuck_out_tongue:

Did you take Monday off?

I was doing presses after squatting and I had to take a break from it. My shoulder was jacked last week and it’s feeling better now after taking a break. Hope you are feeling better!

Yeah I did. My shoulder is feeling better too. I have been using my left hand for my computer mouse and resting the arm in general when ever I can. Plus Motrin is always helpful. I think I will be good for bench press next monday.

Thank you. I am feeling better. I just have to be very particular about what shoulder exercises I do and not to do anything extra. My shoulders are pretty good considering I never work them directly so it’s not that big of a deal

Back Squat 1x8x95, 1x5x115, 1x5x135, 4x5x155, 1x2x185, 1x5x135

BB Curls 1x8x50, 2x8x60,

Single Leg Split Squats 3x8x50dbs

I realize as I am sitting here that I completely forgot to do SLDL… oops!.. I knew I was forgetting something…

Ronda
your keeping a solid log here,
lots of volume nice work.

I asked Thibs about Goblet Squats once and he said to be careful with those as they put stress on the shoulders.

I can not say that I have ever felt goblets in my shoulders. I know what it is that caused this. One day last week I was in between sets and I thought I would some over head BB presses just because I could, from there is was all bad. There are aspects of my job that also put stress on my right shoulder as well as computer usage.
It’s not the first time this has happened but it still surprises me. I just need to remember that I can not do direct shoulder work like that, ahh well.

Deadlift 1x8x135, 1x5x185, 2x4x225, 1x3x225, 1x10x135 (sumo)

SLDL 1x8x95, 2x6x145

Sumo just feels weird and I am not sure DL and SLDL on the same day is a good thing… my grip was shot by SLDL time. Strangely I really feel my lats too…

ETA

ok, I’m an idiot. I did chin ups today, 2x3 and 1x2… of course I feel my lats…

Deads of any sort get my lats as well, but yup chins do it to…

Update your log…

I completely forgot to update before I went to work… don’t worry Joe, I still lift :stuck_out_tongue:

Bench Press 1x65x8,1x5x95, 3x4x135, 2x2x145

T Bar Rows 1x8x55, 2x8x80

HS Iso Rows 1x8x45, 1x8x90, 2x8x125

Incline DB Bench Press 2x8x35, 1x8x40

NG DB Bench 1x8x40

Though my upper body day never directly affected my shoulder in the past my break did help a bit. I was a little bit surprised I didn’t come back stronger but I am also still slightly strained.

I look forward to leg day tomorrow.
