I think the squats went ok though it felt like it was pulling on my hip/pelvis area when I was at the bottom, perhaps that is just something I need to work through…
You might be tucking your pelvis under at the bottom. I used to do that and felt a ‘pulling’ that was difficult to identify. I found I did it when I was ‘reaching’ for depth by pulling my tailbone under/forward at the bottom. Not a ton that it was noticeable, but enough that I felt it. Since you haven’t squatted in so long you may be doing it. However this is all based on one line you wrote, so blah blah blah, I couldn’t tell if I didn’t see a video of it, blah blah blah, etc. ![]()
PS. Full report of AL men when you return.
There actually is a video a little higher up on the page if you wanted to see. It is from last week from the first ime I squatted in over a year. I felt the pull after, mostly on my left side but more so today… maybe I should do more videos…
I’m cute, but not always that bright. I knew the videos were there and I even watched them when you first posted. Duh. Where abouts were you feeling the pull? You weren’t doing what I thought you might be doing, but depending on where it is it could be a flexibility/mobility issue. I’m done being Dr. Courtney. I give up :)[/quote]
Hahaha!
I think it is a flexibility/mobility issue. The pulling feels like it is in the joint of the left hip, I can’t explain exactly except to say it is on the inside. It’s ok now though I expect to feel it again when I squat and for a little bit after…
