Lately my working set has been at 205, though I am thinking of going to 215… it felt like I was picking something up…

So I was approached today by one of the trainers offering me a free consoltation… I’m so not interested… however he asked where I was having problems and I said with my squat form which he said he would help me with… I have no idea if this is a good idea… it’s free though and it is only an hour of my life… I think I may bring my video camera to get a good view of what he is saying.
So I am guessing my DL form is ok as no one said it wasn’t…

I’d take the free hour. Tape the lifts and we’ll all give you feed back. Before you completely blow him off, he may be able to give you some good help. My initial inclination is to think, probably not but I’m wrong more often than I’m right.
Why now all of a sudden? Is this a new trainer at the gym you go to?

Yeah, your right. Though I keep thinking that I have never seen this guy squat so why would I want his advice unless, as Joe puts it, he can squat 315 ass to grass wiht perfect form… that said it can’t hurt either and I get a video out of it shrugs

I think the gym is trying to promote their trainers and as I am not generally an afternoon person I was never ‘pounced’ on by any of them until yesterday. He is fairly new, a few months I think.
