If you look way back at the begining, which I had to go back and check myself, I started out doing 5x5x95 but I know for a fact before I started keeping this journal I started w/ an empty bar and then probably 65lbs and went from there.

Strangely enough my lower back, specificly my left erecter, felt very tight, esp. when doing the HS Iso Rows. It doesn’t hurt but it certainly felt like if I was carful to control my movements I was going to strain it. I managed all the same though if just a bit slower.
Maybe you need to add in some stretching?

Seated Leg Press 1x10x180, 1x8x270, 6x5x360
Then I went home…
So here is the thing, appearently I placed my insertion site for my insulin pump to close to the boney part of my pelvis, the part that sticks out on thin people. This would not have been a problem or even noticed by me if I wasn’t doing my lower body work out today. It started to hurt, then bleed…so yeah, I had to go home and change the site and all that stuff.
Not a horrible thing to happen, at least now I know that is not a good place for me and it was something I could go fix right away.
Good to know.
But yeah, that is why I didn’t finish my work out.

I never really thought about leg presses as I just figured they were a poor substiture for squats ![]()
I think just in general I am shorter and somewhat thicker so that pushing that kind of weight, although it is a work out, isn’t really so tough for me.
As for the curls… shurgs whatever it is it just seems that everything is really falling into place for my upper body lately. I have been able to add weight to everything, it has really become my favorite day.
Now if I could just get my DL to cooroperate… ![]()
