I am working on getting used to this new hand placement on bench. I have discovered why I didn’t naturally put my hands in that location when I started benching, I can’t easily un rack the bar with my hands that wide. Is that a normal problem when trying to get a wider bench stance or do I have T-rex arms?

I am confused, pinkies on rings is wider for you? How close was your bench before? I have my index on the rings for my bench. Maybe I am super wide, Lol.

What is the bench like at the gym you train at? Mine just has pins so I can slide it out no problem. I don’t have to do a lifty thing to get it unracked.
