your hips are shooting up a bit which forces you to use your lower back more to lock it out.

the form breakdown will show up more if you vid the heavier reps.

I did notice that my hips rose before the rest of me also…
I will try to get some reps at 270 or so next week and video that.

I made the mistake of eating tomato soup and crackers right before I went to go squat. It didn’t make me sick but it made it hard to hold my air as the lifts got heavier, there just wasn’t room, lol. That was my problem on my first 265, I got almost to the bottom of the lift and had to let out my breath, not a good feeling.
Plus my back was feeling a bit stiff. I am not entirely sure what to do about that…

your deadlifts aren’t bad at all. From that angle looks like knees are a bit over the bar, can you vid from front also to see leg and foot position?
Maybe arch your back a little, hips are rising a bit first as Mainy noticed, really girl, form is not bad.

WTF!!! This is the first week of my 531 cycle and I was supposed to do 5x105,120,140… as you can see 140 just didn’t work. I rested and tried it again and it did work but after that nothing was was right. Everything seemed super heavy afteter that. I am disappointed ![]()
Today was DL day… interupted by a surprise Bench Press competition ![]()
DL 1x10x135, 1x5x155, 1x5x180, 1x5x200, 1x5x225 fuck! what the hell is going on with my knee!
Once I put down that 225 a pain shot through my left knee that was kind of shocking. It is ok now but I can feeling when I walk and go up stairs. I am hoping it will work it self out, I don’t think I did any real damage.
Then the bench press competition…
I was sitting and poking at my knee trying to figure out what I did when I woman came up and asked me if I was going to compete. I didn’t know what she was talking about so she explained about the poorly advertised rec center competition. I told her I wasn’t planning on it but she was persistant and I was curious about having the opportunity to lift in front of a crowd. Plus my knee was acting weird.
I warmmed up, not sure how I was going to feel after my dismal performance yesterday. I opened with 140 and then went with 155 and my max was 165. I made all 3 lifts, which I was expecting but it was still nice to have the on lookers, to get a feel for that. Also they did not require much of a pause at the bottom of the lift, they said as long as it touches they were ok with it, which worked out well for me ![]()
I was the heaviest female lifter, there were 4 of us all together. The 2 on the lower end of the weigh scale weigh about 110-115 and they both lifted more then there body weight, up to 120. I was impressed ![]()
