Deload week is like a vacation :stuck_out_tongue:

that’s why I would rather not hit the gym at all and ride my bike or swim instead.

or do gym exercises that are not in my program but keep the intensity light. Feels pretty useless to be squating the bar.

Pretty much. Though I am in and out of the gym in less then an hour, it’s kind of cool though I feel embaressed that I am only DLing 115 :stuck_out_tongue:

DL 1x5x75, 1x5x95, 1x5x115, 1x10x80, 2x10x95, 1x10x115

Lat Pull Down 2x10x70, 3x10x80

GMs 1x10x45, 2x10x65, 2x10x85

cake

Thats why I skip deloads all the time.

but it is wrong when you do it :stuck_out_tongue:

Must admit I don’t like deloads either - in all honesty, I’m not keen on being in a stuffy, dark room lifting light weights when I could be outdoors doing something more fun. The free weight room in my gym is a bit claustrophobic, though.
Cake sounds good.

Squat 1x10x45, 1x8x85, 1x6x105, 1x5x125, 1x5x140, 1x5x160, 1x1x180, 1x1x195, 0x1x195, 1x10x75, 1x10x80, 2x10x85, 1x9x95

SLDL 1x10x45, 1x10x65, 1x10x75, 2x10x85

GG 2x10x130, 3x10x140

BG 5x10x130

Two things.

  1. I have never failed at a squat before… I am lucky Joe was there to keep me from dumping it on the ground.

  2. In the past I have done 205, once, badly. This time I did 195 much better. I would venture to say that in a way it is sort of a PR.

don’t you have safet bars on the rack?

glad to know Joe was around to help. And if you did it with better form, then I would call it a form PR

195 squat is good stuff. you are catching up to me!

Bench Press 1x10x45, 1x8x75, 1x5x95, 1x5x110, 1x5x125, 1x2x140, 1x1x145

HS Iso Low Row 3x10x45, 1x8x45, 1x6x45

HS Lat Pull Down 5x10x45

BB Curl 1x10x30, 1x10x40, 1x8x50

I am not sure if the 140 reps or the 145 weight is a PR because I think I may have done 150 at some point a long time ago but I can’t remember and I am not going to search through the prior logs.

Though I do have to say that I also seem to perform better in front of an audience. I asked for a spot for the 140 and 145, I told the guy that I was pretty sure I could do this and not to touch the bar unless it was coming back down on me. As soon as I got it out of the rack I realized it felt light, in comparison to the 125 I did early and was sort of bummed that it felt heavy to me. I did one rep and it was easy I had to go for a second… I may do well at a PL meet after all :stuck_out_tongue:

bench looks solid.

spotters get into my head space. I do better without them.

wow…gettin strong up in here!!!

I think I do better with an audience too.

Also, whoa on the numbers

Thank you all for visiting. I am working really hard to regain my strength and get stronger, and not injured, again :stuck_out_tongue:

DL 1x8x115, 1x8x135, 1x6x155, 1x5x175, 1x1x185, 1x1x205, 1x1x225, 3x10x115, 1x8x115, 1x6x115

Lat Pull Down 3x10x85, 2x10x100

GM 1x10x45, 1x10x65, 3x10x75

My limiting factor today for the conditioning sets was my hands. They were on fire from the knurls on the bar. I have not been wearing gloves lately to see if I could handel it but they still hurt and it is almost 2 hours later. But my next week I will forget about how I feel now and not wear them again :stuck_out_tongue:

I found I was having issues with my hands and grip during deadlifts recently. I was pampering my hands too much and I had no corn left. I told my mani girl to take care of my nails but ignore my palms.

I don’t even get manicures. The most I do is wash my hands and put on some hand lotion. Perhaps with time it will get better

skip the lotion in the palms and see what happens…

I brought the video camera and completely forgot to use it… next week will be my max week, I WILL do videos then.
