Oh yay! I was thinking of getting into PL competitions with a friend of mine who recently got into it, maybe we can do it together

Hey, just thought I’d stop in and say hello. I’m new so I have no helpful advice on your DL form but they look pretty to me.

I do really like the hex for my DLs right now. Somehow the neutral grip seems less threatening.

Congrats on the new job offer. I like the South a lot. I think people tend to be friendlier, plus I’m allergic to snow. What do you do?

That would be awesome!!

sweet news Ronda

Hi Powerpuff!

Thank you. I like the south to and I hope I like where I move to and my job. I have visited there but I am sure living there is different. It will be nice to get away from the snow
I am a medical technologist in a hospital lab.

Thank you. Now I can go to the same really cool gym as Joe, though of course we will be there at different times  at least it is pretty and has windows

his gym is pretty sweet - all the sunlight! hell I’d move for a gym like that…

dusts off old log

I am here in Alabama and pretty much settled in. It took me a while to get all the stuff I needed to join the gym on campus down here but I finally got everything settled. I am still getting used to work and working during the day, though it is nice to wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night and be on a “normal” schedule
This is the first week I have been back to the gym on a regular basis and I have to admitt I am feeling my gym absence :frowning: I am still deciding between 531 or a few other programs and I am not sure yet…

I will start updating my log next week

yeah!!1

good to see you back’

Joe’s gym does look very cool

So like I said, I would start to update this week.

Bench Press 1x10x45, 1x8x95, 2x3x115, 1x2x125, 1x3x115, 1x6x95

HS Iso Row 1x10x45, 2x8x80

HS Seated Inclined BP 2x10x50

Lat Pull down 1x10x55, 2x8x85

Delt Press 2x10x55

While this gym is very pretty it is missing some of the equipment I am used to at my old gym. I am still trying to figure out a routine that I can do. So while this is what I did today I am going to change it up some.

Squat 1x10x45, 1x8x95, 1x8x115, 1x5x135, 1x3x135, 1x10x95

SLDL 1x10x45, 1x10x95, 1x8x115

Seated Leg Press 2x20x95

BB Curls 1x12x30, 2x10x40, 1x10x50

Leg Extentions 2x15x45

Hamstring Curls 1x8x45, 1x8x55, 1x6x65

I’m suprised to hear you say it’s missing stuff. The gym looks massive in the vids. What are you missing?

I’m betting it is missing some HS machine, a chest supported T-bar, and actual cages.

I don’t mind the weird cages that much but I do miss the chest supported T bar rows and some of the HS machines.

I forgot my gym bag today so I didn;t make it to the gym. I was super busy today though and I was very “suzy homemaker” today… it was weird.

Bench Press 1x10x45, 1x8x95, 1x6x115, 1x1x135, 1x5x115, 2x8x95

HS Iso row 1x8x45, 2x8x80

HS Lat Pull Down 1x8x45, 1x5x70

Cable Cross Over 3x15x7.5

HS High Row 2x8x40

I did get to 135 on my bench, unfortunately, it felt heavy.

I am not happy with this upper body work out. It is to random and not planned at all, I am still trying to figure out where things are in this gym. Plus there are so many people there at the time I am there that it is hard to get to what you want to use. That said, the gym is pretty and there is a pool and a hot tub
I will figure something out

Hey ronda! Doesn’t look like a bad upper day. Boo for crowded gyms… part of why I train at very odd hours.

I used to train like that as well but now between work and traffic I just need to go when I can. I will figure something out though.

training looks pretty solid

not that random.

Joe never mentioned a hot tub.
he has been holding out.

Do 5/3/1 or someone will eat you.
