Ronaldo, the Incredible Hulk

.

Is it me or does he look really deformed in that pose, i’m not even sure what it is.

For anyone who doesn’t know he’s also 6ft 1… so yeah we’re not quite talking hulk weight.

I’d say Micah Richards would have been a slight improvement if they have to do this, at least he looks reasonably solid.

Not sure I can think of many footballers with better physiques… hardly seems to go hand in hand.

I saw that as well, I wonder how many hours it takes to do 3000 sit ups.[/quote]

Whenever I hear about someone talking about that many sit-ups, I always think of the opening scene from American Psycho.

Great clip.

I found the “American Mexican American Psycho spoof” that popped up afterwards pretty funny.

Lou has more muscle in his calf and forearm than Ronaldo has in his whole buddy. Ball kicking pussy.

jesus, what nonesense.

One should remember that “Operation Puerto” was an investigation into "substance misuse by a certain Doctor in Spain. A number of cyclists were alleged to have made use of this particular Doctors. The Doctor however claimed to have treated many other sportsman including footballers, tennis players and basket ball players. He also claimed there were other Doctors in Spain “at it”.

For sake of comparison, the other “roid monkey”.

Some of Ronaldo’s impressions are further along than others. His Hulk was a bit rubbish, but he does have a knack for impersonating certain members of T-Nation.

Here’s his take on Headhunter…

…and this is his version of Drivethruhero.

LMFAO!!!

Brilliant, Roy!

lol

Thanks ID! This one’s my favorite: Eliteballa.

This is the shit I hate about the world…I’m 6’0 185, so roughly the same as this soccer dude, and I’m just getting STARTED…if I posted a pic like the one on the news article I’d be embarrassed, if that was the final goal. I understand its hard to hold extra mass in sports like Soccer, and Basketball…but if you want an impressive physique go admire a build like 6’8 280 LeBron James, not Brad Pitt from Fight Club with Hawt Abs

Fucking British tabloids. It’s sad to think that a country (or at least its right-wing newspapers)which produced Dorian Yates, and even athletes like Andrew Sheridan and James Haskell, now regards this skinny soccer-twat as overly muscular. LOL @ 3000 sit-ups.

The anti-soccer comments are really something.

That aside, I think most are missing the main issue - this guy runs 10 kilometres+ per game, twice a week most weeks, plus training. That amount of cardio doesn’t lend itself to retaining a high muscle mass, except perhaps in the legs where the vast bulk of the running is 15-20 yard sprints.

Same goes for basketball players - hoofing it up and down a 90’ court for 30-35 minutes, 80+ nights a year is pretty intense cardio, plus 6’8" guys are generally ecto-morphs, not mesomorphs. So how does Lebron and some others look like anatomy class sculptures?

Top drawer nutrition? Sure. Programmed recovery and disciplined training? Sure. But I don’t think you should rule out the simple answer - steroids.

The kid is in great shape for his sport he also has a physique that most guys and most women would consider to be desireable.

You guys on here have to face facts that most people don’t want to look like or be with someone who looks like a bodybuilder. This is not a knock on bodybuilder physiques, if that is what you want, cool, go for it just don’t expect the rest of the world to understand you or your motivation.

Being under 200 pounds at average height or above, even when extremely active, is not exactly overly difficult.

He has abs and is very lean… That’s it. His body/metabolism is likely used to his level of activity, too… It’s not like he just started playing soccer.

While I can’t speak for everyone I consider this a good thing considering “most guys and most women” have less character depth than the shit I took this morning.

It’s not Ronaldo’s physique, it’s comments like “beefed-up physique”, “rippling muscles”, “Incredible Hulk” and the steroid claim that are being ridiculed… and rightly so.

Let’s carry on.

To add to Roybot’s little slide show of T-Nation member impersonations, here’s one of AccipiterQ.

That guy weighs 190 pounds?? Looks more like 165ish to me.
