This is more or less why I hate people and why I’ll never have a room mate that drinks. I should actually thank you for this life lesson so I didn’t have to experience a mouthful of piss on my own to realize the stupid thing people do.
P.S. - Looked back through your blog and saw that you wanted to be a wrestler. That’s awesome. WWE Raw could use some talent again, however, I doubt they will let a person that speaks tongue with satan pants into the PG-Era. I hate raw now…

Hahaha yea. It was pretty dumb. But we had a crazy time in our apt together. We one upped each other every chance we got. Loved it.
And yea I can hope that by the time I’m good enough for them to notice me the PG era is over. WWE was so filthy back then because they were trying to become more popular than WCW. They pulled out all the stops and won the big time promotions war. TNA is creeping up slowly to contend with WWE. I think they’re gearing up for a new ratings war.
We need TNA to play the role of WCW and maybe a smaller more underground promotion to play ECW to force the issue but I feel its coming.
IPG era is the result of no competition…
What I think is happening now though is the gradual end of Smackdown and a single Raw show that lasts 3 hours to make up for it. It will start at. Hors it will increase in adult situations…eventually the adult situations will start to seep back through the 9 o’clock hout the into the full on fuckfest of the attitude era

I picked up overhead shrugs from an article on here in 07 I think called “Power Look”. I’ve loved them ever since and finally working them back in.
ECW? That was the best promotion in my opinion. I’ve met a few of the originals since I’ve been in the business at different indy shows. They’re all actually still kicking…although old as hell now.
Entertaining characters in WWE? Woo nothing for a long time you’re right. I’m ever iffy on Brock to be honest. Attitude Era was amazing. So many stories written for so many performers who could sell the hell out of them.
As far as my plans…I want to hit 60 or so matches on the indy circuit then head to a big time Indy promotion for a little bit…mayve 2 years before attempting TNA or WWE contacts.
I’m an early 20s guy so I still have dues to pay to the business

@ Brock Lesnar - I’m a huge fan of real wrestlers that go into the business like Dan Severn, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle (etc.etc.) because they have some real wrestling skills. Brock Lesnar could whip people around like they were nothing so that beast appeal was there for him.
The only thing that pissed me off about him is he’s never sticking to anything. Brock Lesnar left his contract early, quit Football (he did really well, but the coaches wanted him to get more experienced so they tried to send him to do a tour in europe which is an honor most people never get - especially those who don’t even play football lol), and he got his ass kicked in the UFC (after he contracted his gut illness granted).
It would have been awesome to see him stick to the UFC. He’s come back to WWE raw though and he’s not the presence he used to be.

Brock Lesnar did suck at football lol. All he did was start fights. He was incredibly aggressive and dominant which are desirable athlete traits in football. Brock Lesnar was not bereft of football ability, but he was incredibly under qualified for the job which is why the offered to give him a tour in Europe (I think).

Too true. Brock Lesnar - Minnesota NCAA champ. Kurt Angle - Gold Medalist in Free Style Wrestling. Dan Severn - Arizona wrestler. All these people identified themselves as just wrestlers. I agree it’s kind of boring and generic. Pretty awesome how you used to wrestle and you’re making up a bad ass persona instead of the “I wrestled - hear me ROAR” route.

If you ever make it to the WWE early as your demon guy make sure that you make Cena retire. The entire WWE fan base (that’s opinion is worth a damn a.k.a anyone that isn’t a kid) will thank you.
That makes sense. He has all the ability and none of the skill so they wanted to send him to a place to learn how to play.

No doubt it was because of his “work ethic”. I’ve been reading through your blog and I see that you’re no slack jawed pussy either. So, I imagine that the rest of the WWE superstars have a pretty decent work ethic. I imagine it was because of the “work ethic and the good ol’ american spirit” and his personality. All boring to me. I have a simple philosophy in life - “It’s not what you deserve it’s what you earn” and you don’t earn the WWE spotlight because you “Deserve it” becuase you may do a squat work out when you’re tired. I remember wrestling some one one with a screwed up neck and horrible elbows and I imagine you probably had to fight through injury. I want some one who EARNS the spotlight. I think the Cena push started out as an extension of Eminems craze after 8 Mile. I’m not sure how old you are but I was in 8th grade when 8 Mile came out and every White kid suddenly turned into a rapper.
This carried on for year…still today even.
