sorry i didnt respond earlier, when i was benching about 275, back when i was a wee lad, i brought it up to 315 using heavy bands for reverse band benchs. I think when i went from 385 to 425 i had my 315 easy. Never got a chance to check it past those weights, but for me, just benching that ultra heavy weight helped a shit load, this was also in conjunction with 4x10 on closegrip once a week as well. I also used a pause on the banded bench.

yep yep! Can actually get alot of varying tension doing that, ive done that as well, you can also try and hook them from higher up if possible etc… i just fucking love me some good band tension. And Congrats on the contract man!
