@mortdk Oh i have some ideas of starting top singles. DL 405 Bench 275 Squat 375 SP 160. The DL naturally has been my money lift and 405 has usually always been there.

I’ve been a dive bomber for most of my lifting only recently having switched to a more controlled movement.

Have you given both ways enough of a try to know which one is bestest?

Only a 30lb difference between your squat and deadlift? I would say that your squat is the stronger lift, relatively (to most people’s ratio between lifts).

I find with controlled everything for myself moves to slow especially out of the whole.

Well that is the start. Last time around my DL had 75lb difference. And SP is shoulder press.

Strong lifts for just starting back. I hope to hit a 275 bench one day…

Ah gotcha, I have seemed to keep a pretty consistent >100lb gap (~110lbs right now) between squat and dead.

I know my ass came up early in the squatand turned into a alight Good Morning, but for some reason it never effects my comp weights. I do find the bar is a slight to high for my liking.

Good morning or not, that moved fast. Nice work!

I was tempted to go for 405 but, i decided to wait till another time. Got 9 weeks till meet so no reason to push to much.

As long as the good morning pattern doesn’t injure you I guess. Are you gonna try fix it at all like working on upper back tightness or cuing knees forward or something like that?

It’s also pretty inefficient because it’s mostly back and glutes. We got quads may as well use em.
