300lb trap bar pull.
155 squat
95 BP
235 sumo
Really thinking about switching to standard 5/3/1 to get the weight up and the volume down some.

I’m also thinking about switching it up a bit. Actually, quite a lot. I’m going to stay strong though.
5/3/1 one is solid.
That’s the beauty of 5/3/1 for the committed challenge. You can change it up without changing the fundamentals.
Yea sir. That’s ehy I calculated the percentages for both before I started.
SQ, BP and DL on the same day?
I dunno. I haven’t got that far yet, just so long as I test the maxes by the new year.
Myself and @mortdk have a mock meet planned between Christmas and New year I you’d like to join.
Okay, I’m in! Thank you for including me.
Can we wear our singlets? ![]()

A wise woman once told me they aren’t for decoration anyway.
Couldn’t decide what to do. Flipped coin. Staying with the HG this cycle.
Pretty stoked that my TM is now greater than the 1rm I started with it!

Hmmmm… just sitting here wiggling my brain.
On the trap bar pulls I hit 10x220 two weeks ago. Last week I hit 15x210.
I am thinking about bumping this cycles trap bar work to next cycles weights.
Which would be 215, 230, 240 by the end of the cycle. I think that sounds reasonable.
What do y’all think?
I don’t understand the question, sorry.
So you hit 15 reps on week 1 of your cycle and want to increase your TM to make it more challenging?
Yeah that about sums it up.
You want to jump ahead 5 pounds? I think you’re good to go ahead.
You could easily get that sort of difference in your poundages if you just rounded your % calculations differently. Also you’ve got general lifting experience and practice with the program so you should be good to fine tune things.
Maybe leave one extra rep in the tank at first, to give yourself room to grow into the new weights. If it’s too easy you could always squat harder that week.
Yep, what he said.
Thanks! I think I can pull it off. Worse case scenario is I have to drop the weight back down.
