New drill … check
Screws… check
Metal roofing… check
Partner in crime… check
Bits… not so much, they’re here somewhere!
Motivation… better

Much work to do. Weather is supposed to be okay until next Wednesday. We shall do our very best. I will have to pull some of the old metal off to put the new on. I buried the ends in the ground so… this may go badly. So very dry.

Need to pick up a new regulator for the heater.

I am of the opinion that a corded drill is better for most people. If you are doing a construction project, often need it for tight spaces, or need it more than a few times a year, then cordless is better. The corded ones just have so much power, are very reliable, and they are cheap.

I have both, and the I do like the cordless one, but I forget to charge the battery.

Somewhere, read… whatever mom put it, I have an awesome corded drill. The cordless one is just lighter and easier for me to handle.

I have no illusions of whipping this out in 30 mins.

I am disorganized. I have often just gone and bought a tool I couldn’t find. I recently bought 4 10 mm sockets (short and deep in two different drive sizes), because I am always searching for the damn 10 mm socket.

I’ve never lost a tool. Kind of proud of that.

I’ve totally driven to a parking lot to retrieve a snap on ratchet from under a van, but I got it back so it doesn’t count :joy:

I don’t lose them, more temporarily can’t find them.

I would too for a $150 ratchet. My stuff isn’t that nice. Craftsman is my nice stuff, but I do have a bit of Mac and SK, but not very much.

I’ve got more than a brand new truck in tools. All of it came off a tool truck. It’s honestly a thing of beauty. I have a quick video I took for insurance purposes but I can’t figure out how to post it or I would. It’s gorgeous

A few years ago someone stole a snap on truck in my area. I believe the headline mentioned it was worth 3 million.

I have enough to do almost all automotive jobs. Compressor, air tools, and just about every hand tool. Quality of my stuff varies though. The really cheap stuff has mostly gone away now. Just can’t trust sockets that split down the side with a bit of torque.

I have actually been pleased with stuff I have gotten from Harbor Freight. I have some impact sockets, a breaker bar, a really nice pivoting head long handle 3/8" ratchet. I am sure some of their stuff is garbage, but that stuff has been solid.

Another extremely solid options for cheap quality sockets and quality ratchets is gray pneumatic. They have some thin walled impact sockets that are amazing (duo is what they call them I believe)! I also have a couple of their 80tooth ratchets o use for submersible jobs and they are really good quality and have held up to all the abuse I don’t want to put Snapon stuff through

Well, it’s like @mnben87 said. It’s not lost, it’s just put up and we can’t find it. It’s still on the property, just safe and sound…:rofl::rofl:
You’re too young to understand

I DID find the bits though, so at least I have that going for me.
