Rising From the Ashes (CL)

Good luck and godspeed my lady. I just did a few tune-ups on my mower/s.

I’m going to go full redneck on my lawnmower and make it a drill starter instead of pulling.

Thanks Sky. I look at it like this… I can’t break it because it’s already broke. This thing is definitely one of the most frustrating things evah!

I was looking at mine the same way. Takes the pressure off a little.

How is the connection on that killswitch?

I have a wide selection of hammers that allow me to break almost anything even better than it was broke before.

Disabled completely I have fire

Well I rebuilt mom riding mower and I got the push mower, the tiller, the weed eater and the chainsaw going it’s just this particular piece of s***. What I really need is a brand new 6 horsepower engine to put on it:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Ok. Does it sputter out and croak after any given number of seconds? Like 10 pulls, then chug sputter gasp?

Actually, check the serial numbers and engine code. B & S did manufacture a model right around that time which was a complete clunker.

No, it’s not even trying.

Is spark plug getting wet?

If not, then no fuel. Different environment & conditions, but my fuel lines need changed every couple years. They just gum up and suck.

Oh I’ve been thoroughly impressed by your mechanical skills and determination to get something running! I just meant this as a joke lol maybe I’m the only ones who’s made it more brokererer :joy:

Fuel fire and air. I always start with fire as it’s the easiest, then fuel.

I didn’t pull the plug out but I just put a new carburetor, air cleaner, fuel shut off, fuel filter change the fuel line, cleaned the gas tank all that crap day before yesterday. And got fresh gas

Piiib?

While hitting it.

I can tell you this, if I stick my finger in the plu wire and pull the rope slowish, I get a tingle.

Yea but with the appropriate air gap what color is the tingle :joy:

I’ll have to check later but it’s a brand new spark plug I got with the carburetor kit

“Sale of this item prohibited in California” alone means it’s worth fixin.

That’s it! It’s worth a shot. Of course this may take 100 YouTube videos but I will figure it out.

@SkyzykS definitely a gremlin in the works here. I have the feeling it’s going to be something really simple/ dumb. This one doesn’t have any other wires on it. Just the kill switch on the deadman handle. Which I have completely removed. I’m not worried about killing it. I need to start first!:rofl::rofl:
