I suggest adding dandelion to the mix. The greens and root are incredibly nutritious

They make a pretty good wine, too.

It’s been a long time since I have made any wine and the last batch was definitely for Emergency use only  Good Lord it was shout. Whew!
Do you have a recipe?

SEAL Jacks? Had to look that one up. Remember doing regular jacks, 4-count jacks, and yes, front clap jacks (now called SEAL Jacks I guess) way back in highschool and PJ training. Guess it sounds better than front clap jacks (and not as open to innuendoes).

I had to look them up too when OG suggested this. I will admit front clap jacks does have a certain ring to it though.:rofl::rofl:

Out of propane and the weatherman missed it by a mile this morning. Had a nice little shower complete with thunder, lightning, and small hail or frozen rain. Whatever you want to call it, there was ice falling from the sky.

Are “air punches” the same as shadow boxing?

In a slower motion kinda way. @oldergoat is the one doing all the fancy footwork. It would be much more gratifying if I actually hit something. Haven’t found a great deal on a bag yet, but it will come along.

Find an old duffle bag, laudry bag, whatever. Stuff it with old clothes, hang it, and start hitting. It would have to be outside but you could also make a simple Makiwara.

I may give this a try. I have a pretty good sized duffel bag stashed away. I filled the last one with sawdust from a buddy who owns a cabinet shop but it turned out to be fairly unmanageable at the time.

I was a little worried going into this but definitely happy I pulled it off pretty damn close to how it was written.

Only three days of the OG medley last week but I had a weird injury yesterday. I have several feral cats that stay in my yard. I went to throw them some stale crackers and one of them caught me with a claw right in a vein/artery on the back of bony, vascular old lady hands. Blood went everywhere. Washed with soap and water, iodine, and finally got it to stop bleeding. Made homemade tortillas into fried burritos covered with chile and cheese and didn’t think anything else about it.
Went out to the greenhouse and lugged the new cube of peat moss inside. Something come unhinged and suddenly I had a golf ball sized knot under my skin right there. My only guess is that the I reopened the veil and it was bleeding under my skin. Tried cut it open with the xacto knife to drain it it but that didn’t help. Ended up icing it and wrapped tight. Still swollen this morning and sore as hell but more spread out so I guess I will live… I just didn’t want to take a chance opening it back up with medley. I did get my plants separated and now I have 8 trays of broccoli
