Crazy busy? Any lifting squeezed in? Ready for Christmas?

Or maybe just crazy. No, I went out yesterday and did a couple of warm up sets and just couldn’t get my mind in the right place. Plus the weather has been uncooperative. Makes for an easy excuse. Hopefully I will be able to get my gym closed up with something over the holiday weekend so I can hook up the heater.

Kinda lost right now as to what exactly I want to do this round. Thinking of dropping conv deadlifts and just going with trap bar, trading flat BP for incline and that’s about as far as I have got. I like @oldergoat thoughts on rotating stuff on a six week cycle. Ya know, because I have the attention span of a rabid squirrel.

I’m so unmotivated to lift outside in the cold this winter. Getting your she’d covered and heater-friendly may go a long way to helping you resume. You had a long stretch of consistent lifting too, and I’ll bet your body, including your CNS, needed a break.

Trap bar deadlifts and incline bench presses are my ideal lifts, right now. Throw in some rows or pull-ups and a few accessories, and I think you have the basis of a fantastic lifting block. Cycling different lifts every six weeks or so may provide the novelty you need to stay motivated. Any idea what your goals are?

Oh I will get back on it. I have come to learn that a few days off isn’t the end of the world, as long as the overall consistency is there.

As far as goals go, that’s a tough one. Still chasing my 300lb pull. I am happier with my size but would like to trade a little fluff for muscle. Did pretty well on lower body this year, (read mama’s thunder thighs are coming home baby!) So if it’s working don’t fix it.
Not sure where I went wrong with the upper body part, probably just need to keep hammering on it.
All in all just be consistent like I have been. I think that be the road to success.

I stopped by the feed store this week to pick up some decent sized bags potting soil for this giant majesty palm and the guy came over to help the little old lady carry it to her car. I threw a bag on my shoulder and one under my right arm and started walking to the car. He said. “You are a badass!” That give me satisfaction than it should have, but I did get a kick out of it. I

When one have worked hard to be one, satisfaction is certainly well-earned. (For what it is worth I agree with the guy.)

Thanks Doomy!

Quoted for truth.

You should’ve told him that if you had another arm…
