I think you are letting the new comers get under your skin. You are a better person than that. In the past you have always been honestly helpful.

They trigger me. For several reason. I may have a HIT related form of PTSD, it really just pisses me off. Well, IT doesn’t, because I think it does make one valuable contribution to training theory. The adherents tend to trigger me a lot. It’s blind stupidity of some stuff. “I lost 20lbs by using cold water at the end of my shower”. So, total elimination of fast food from your diet wasn’t part of that equation? I did cold shower in Micronesia for several months - I didn’t lose an ounce from that.

I understand, but sometimes you just have to “smile and wave boys, just smile and wave”. Walk away and leave them to thier on demise. Does no good to beat your head up against a brick wall. :wink:

I am sure that every single lifter on here that was active in the 80’s or 90’s has similar trauma. The blind adherence is maddening. I’m fine with learning about any program and picking apart the nuts and bolts and seeing if I can gain something from it. Insisting on it and worshipping the shamans of it - in spite of zero results - just triggers me. It’s like a loved one becoming a Fox News watcher/

Pretty much my philosophy… im a scavenger. Ill will barrow from anyone as long as it makes sense based on my experience. Along with it not Violating any established basic train principles.

I’m sure there is. Do I believe I can put on 25 lbs of muscle in a month? Oh hell no! Is the training bad? No… Would it be worth pursing? Probably.
Is it the Holy Grail? Nope. I don’t believe there is one. No one size fits all.
