Pretty much just progressive overload e.g each session trying to get more reps in a set and then once you get to like 12-15+ of the trainer you should be good to close the 1.

Todays training
Last week there was alot of signs that i needed a deload this week. Since i am supposed to deload next week i stubbornly ignored it and tried to do my session today but yeah that didn’t work out so well… taking the rest of the week as a deload.

My deadlift really needs form improvement still, because ive started pulling with a rounded back, which is absolutely retarded and does not feel good. I’m considering deadlifting twice a week. I might switch out front squats to deadlifts instead on a friday.

At your age you should be able to add weight with ease. At my age it’s still not too hard to add weight but it’s very easy to just get fat !! Good to see you adding some size young fella, it will help with your strength for sure.

I think you might benefit from The Daily Dose of Deadlift. I’m thinking about doing it just because I like to train frequently and I love deadlifts. Google it. It’s on a Strong Lifts site. I saw it on @ActivitiesGuy’s log earlier this year.

That looks good, Infact i could do it as a warmup/Supersetted with warmup stuff. Since DL is the only thing potentially where i will lose the event and potentially costing me the Comp win in april, it’s what i need to focus on the most. My overhead strength and all events except yoke is up to par and on track.

What will i do now though since on a main deadlift day i wont be doing much deadlift wise? I think I’ll keep it as is but add more assistance.

It’s an addition to whatever program you’re running. I’d plan more assistance stuff on that day and event work.

My plan is to do clean pulls on Monday and Friday. Wednesday is leg day. I think I’ll try to just add the Deadlift sets as warm ups for the pulls and then my leg day will just be shorter.

I’ll wait til next week to start. My lower back is sore today from yesterday’s 10 EMOM since I haven’t done a real leg day in a few weeks.
