Rise Of The Slaya 2019- Next Strongman Comp prep and fixing my hip

Yeah, my breakfasy options are limited. Most foods i simply cant eat in the morning. Im hoping greek yoghurt and granola + fruit and nuts will be good to eat. Trying it tomorrow. Turns out to be 700 calories or so for what im having and if its fine I’ll bump up the quantities.

Im fussy right?

What’s wrong with you!? I’m hoping that you just haven’t tasted quality foods with all the school lunches and what not…

I’m glad to see you like one food in the world.

I’m just fussy. I hate all sauces like tomato sauce, bbq sauce, mayonnaise etc. (So i hate burgers) Yuck. Also things like mcdonalds burgers are just cheap and nasty. I’m also fussy in the fact that i hate drinking tap water and would rather drink bottled because it tastes way better. Been like this since i was little.

If i could id Hire the best chefs in the world to make all my meals and get the best quality ingredients because the difference is night and day. Even between normal and grass fed steak. Grass fed is so much more delicious… yeah im fussy as hell

It’s funny you say that because folks around here are the other way around. They say the grass fed stuff tastes bad. I haven’t ever had it. My family buys a cow directly from a local farmer. It’s not grass fed but at least it’s treated humanely.

Thats kinda weird. Then again i dont know if im weird or not for prefering grass fed if other people prefer normal. And Animals straight from a farm are alot tastier too than some factory packaged hormone fucked up shit at the store.

I don’t think I could afford to go all grass fed, hormone and antibiotic free meat. My moral line in the sand has more to do with how the animals are raised and treated. I know enough people that I can buy cows and hogs locally and at least guarantee that they’re not tortured.

Chickens, on the other hand, are a different story… I’ve yet to find someone who can provide me with 5-6 chickens a week at a decent price so I buy the poor stuff raised on the massive farms.

That’s great!

Chicken is god damn expensive. Why is it so expensive when chickens are alot cheaper to have than cows?

Chicken is cheap here but we have massive “farms” that mass produce the stuff. I can go to the store and get chicken breasts and thighs for $1.88 or $1.98 per pound. I but the refrigerated stuff and just cook all of it at once. It’s all injected with broth to add weight and make it juicy though.

If you want unaltered chicken then you can buy “Smart Chicken”. It’s like $8 a pound and the chickens are tiny compared to the roided out stuff to which we’re accustomed.

Can we trade? Over here chicken is expensive af. $10 for 1kg

Screw that pricing…

bruh. I miss eggs and oatmeal for breakfast.

From the SS Days:

  • 8 eggs
  • XL Bag of Spinach
  • 25g of Butter
  • 1 Capsicum
  • Mushrooms, onion and Garlic

Plus

  • 1 cup of oats (measured raw), cooked in
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of water
  • mashed-up pumpkin
  • cinnamon and nutmeg

boi I tell you that shit was :ok_hand:

And yet you’re still a trim 165. How?

I dont eat this now :joy:, if I remember right that added up to about 2200 calories.

March-June last year I ran Starting Strength and ate accordingly (still stalled on everything really quick though). I think I gained around 20 pounds (8kg) in three months, but looked shitty. Hence, I’ve been cutting weight and making conditioning a priority.

Very. I’d kill to have your diet :joy:
