@guineapig my log is superior now mwahaha
Yeah.
You can try easing into it - start with your shoulders down and lats contracted, and then let them go up slowly. If it still causes pain you can try a different grip width or just ditch them.
In the meantime you may want to try the upside down hangs. Just Google “SuperD lower back protocol” and you should find it. You’ll need some heavy bands for it though
It’s completely normal for you to have some traits of 1B or even 2A. (Also, the way you were brought up can affect your choices and throw us off)
That’s logical, as the intensity and neurological demand on assistance exercises is lower.
If you look into the newer articles and podcasts you can get a pretty solid understanding, but the course does have it all in one place and you don’t have to be so critical about wether or not the information is too old
CT goes as far as to say 1As shouldn’t go over 45 minutes after warming up. Personally I’m at around the 50 minute - hour mark now.
Yeah i do take my time warming up though, i think i should time it to see how long I take. Lower body days are longer though im sure. I’ll time them both.
My gym has a good selection of bands so i should be able to do it.
Alright. I’ll try easing into it, i also think my grip may not be wide enough.
Ohhh
Indeed
I’ll have a look. This neurotyping stuff interests me alot.
Neurotyping is more about what you’re built to do. It’s not like a 1A couldn’t do any cardio or a single set of isolation. Hell, I’m a 1A and a year ago I ran 5Ks and 10Ks every day.
When you’re evaluating your own neurotype you must be honest with yourself; it’s not about what you’d like to be like, it’s about what you are like. Some things may not fit in, and that’s completely normal. Also keep in mind that the way you were brought up may affect your behavior and it may throw you off. The way you act naturally is what tells us the most about your neurotype.
Lol you must be bored as fuck. But I do now to the superior log
This. Me too. I think neurotypes are a thing, but we’re not the freak that is CT. I don’t think we’re advanced enough to even be considering these types of things yet. For an advanced lifter, a set of 10 @ 70% of their 1RM is so mentally and physically taxing because they activate more of their muscle fibers when they perform. We normal humans do not. I think CT may have been speaking primarily to advanced lifters when he said “train according to your neurotype”, because for them, that kind of stuff becomes important if they want to keep making progress. For now, I think training according to our discipline and knowledge levels should benefit us the most.
Yeah i was ![]()
Static monsters
Was pretty cool. Got to know some new people and catch up with people i havent seen since states last year.
There was a 380kg pull on the wagon wheel deadlift and the dude narrowly missed 400kg.
One of the dudes there (he won states last year) kinda put it to me that im eating fuck all when i told him what i eat lol. Im going to start eating more.
Pretty sure it’s been said here a 1000 times before. You need to get the diet right and the recovery or you will not progress or just end up injured.
No one on here has said to eat more, but i have been thinking it for a bit now.
Guys i have found the solution to me hating breakfast!! I used to have eggs for breakfast and i hate eggs so i stopped. ever since I’ve been having oats and i hate oats too (i end up eating like half my breakfast most of the time) i bought granola today which has oats in it but Superior to regular oats. Tastes really good…
Just eat 200g of bacon every morning
Can’t be bothered cooking in the morning. I’m a zombie ![]()

Cool it all on Sunday night, potions in the fridge and then microwave it for 90 secs, not exactly cooking.
if i liked bacon… i do like it sometimes but eh
Wtf young Duke Bacon is the shit… way to much fat though.
I can’t really give any advice on breakfast. I’ve eaten it always and if I don’t get my breakfast my day is ruined.
How about some toast with ham and cheese and bacon.
How about a cheeseburger? It would require meal prep but just because it’s in the morning doesn’t mean you have to eat traditional “breakfast” foods.
PB&J is also an easy option.
Idk, i find it too salty and fatty and get sick of it if i eat it frequently. (Not literally sick, just hate eating it)
I prefer things that are cold for breakfast. More high calorie and easy to eat as my appetite is small when i wake up. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so i need to be better with it
I dont eat burgers lol
I dont really like bread much. Or jam.
haha you’ll find a way young Duke.
