Of course you could go forward and say that everyone are tied to confirmation bias and we’re more prone seeking/accepting evidence that supports our beliefs.
But yeah. I remember seeing in documentary Flat Earthers doing a bunch of tests to prove how earth is flat. After all tests failed, they wondered if their equipment is broken somehow.
Not that they got exactly the results that they would get with such tests.

And we’re just coming off a decade where weird sexuality became a trend. I would surmise numbers are inflated because being gay or trans was the counter culture thing to do. Soon it will be back to backwards hats and rap music or something, and I wouldn’t be shocked if 7.7% drops to 1% or below.

Pretty much this. I personally know people who call themselves queer or non-gender conforming, despite having a heterosexual preferences and would never be in any other type of relationship.
Yeah i question what the actual number of indviduals that do have a actual form gender dysmorphia psychologically . While other’s are just looking for a identity and its trendy.

I was simply against them when I was more naive and did not have children.
After living more and having children - I am radicalized against them and the fervent lack of punishment they receive.
