RIP Charlie Kirk

Radical leftists yearn to tell you how to live your life.
Radical right yearn to be left alone.

What has been the difference between those two? What makes what you currently are radicalized vs what you were before?

I’m asking with an intent to understand. This isn’t some silly internet ā€œgotcha!ā€ thing.

This is definitely not a radical position.

Actively pushing for harsher sentences (death sentence) for pedophiles and donating money accordingly.

Depends on who you ask.

I don’t view that as radicalized myself. This would go into more the realm of ā€œstaunchā€ to me. But I appreciate you sharing your perspective.

Those believing that ā€œwanting to be left aloneā€ is radical are radical themselves.

I also would not define that as a radical.

I would say that radical right could be somebody yearning authoritarianism and thinking civil/human rights don’t matter.

Before someone notices these are also present in radical left thinking: there’s a saying that enough far right is left and enough far left is right.

Of course we can take my preferred route that we approach left and right as a question of equality vs freedom. Radical/far left would mean absolute equality and no freedoms, just like communism. Radical/far right would mean anarchocapitalism where there would be no equality (and practically no public government) and absolute freedom.

Of course most people do fall somewhere in between, because radicalism is silly.

those that connect with leftist values will preach that ā€˜words matter’ while simultaneously screaming that Trump and everyone that aligns with him are ā€˜Nazis’ and ā€˜literal Hitler’

I’ve lost jobs through no fault of my own while having a kid, a car payment, mortgage, etc.

My response ā€œHello, Aerotech? Got any placements for welders?ā€ Couple days later, I’m making more money for less work and better conditions- closer to home.

Fucking guy needs to shore up his value. And watch his mouth.

Anarchists, imo , are different than ā€œfar rightā€, and much more aligned with the left. Violence for violence sake and claiming a political reason seems a staple of the left,

Since the French Revolution, yes. Hence conservatives lose.

There are various kind of anarchism. Anarcho-capitalism means basically almost all to the private markets.

Well he’s definitely my generation with those words.

I keep hoping the hatred I have is going to die down. I dont want to feel this level of disgust and loathing.

But its not going away. If anything, its getting worse.
The left is begging me to deepen my hatred of them.
They’re pleading for Charlie Kirk to become a martyr.

I can’t with these people.

I dont give a shit.

Its the liberal fucks out there celebrating his death that make me want to start sending rounds down range.

We really can’t compare liberalism and conservatism of that era to this time.

Unless someone wants to be a proper conservative and think that enlightenment and founding fathers were wrong and we should return to rigid estate system.

It’s a staple of political radicalism. Not tied to leftism.

Take a break from most social media platforms. They’re filled with stupid people doing stupid things.

I’m not even on any except bodybuilding forums.

I dont think the left understands how big of a problem they just created.
Dont bother with the whole ā€œit wasnt everyone on the leftā€ disclaimer. They enabled it, continue to enable it, and many just outright embolden it.
