I also would not define that as a radical.
I would say that radical right could be somebody yearning authoritarianism and thinking civil/human rights donāt matter.
Before someone notices these are also present in radical left thinking: thereās a saying that enough far right is left and enough far left is right.
Of course we can take my preferred route that we approach left and right as a question of equality vs freedom. Radical/far left would mean absolute equality and no freedoms, just like communism. Radical/far right would mean anarchocapitalism where there would be no equality (and practically no public government) and absolute freedom.
Of course most people do fall somewhere in between, because radicalism is silly.
