RIP Charlie Kirk

This is one thing I love/hate in US. Everything is a conspiracy.

Usually the explanation with less actors is the right one. Shooter was probably a fucked up individual who was completely engrossed by the stupid, stupid culture wars.

And one more public figure was assassinated in US political history.

I liked this comparison at the beginning.

There is a healthy level of skepticism, then there’s flat eartherz.

There actually are some major powers manipulating laws and perceptions from behind the scenes. Bribes are offered and accepted. People do get killed for speaking up (Boeing, The Clintons, etc).

It becomes a real question of plausibility and motives.

It would be a cakewalk to find a true believer with semi decent marksmanship skills and a willingness to make that shot.

There is even a lot of good reasons to do it, like Kirks ability to attract this generation to the red team. Especially with midterms on the horizon.

The only real question is ā€œIs anybody willing to take it that far?ā€

And unfortunately, the answer is ā€œProbably Yes.ā€.

So, yeah, the ā€œtheoriesā€ are gonna fly. Thats why its important to stay focused on the evidence.

I guess it depends. A 17 year old chick grabbing my crotch is going to get a firm put-off.

A gay dude grabbing my crotch is going to get punched in the mouth. And I would train my wife and daughter to do the same thing if grabbed in the crotch, or worse.

If I were somehow tricked in to a sexual act by a dude and found out mid sexual act (the scenario in most of the cases) I’d consider the scenario an active rape and I fortunately don’t ever see myself in this scenario to find out how I’d react to it.

I fully agree with considering ā€œtrans panicā€ a legitimate defense.

Now in the last case I had listed where the guy knew he was in sexual relationship with a trannie and killed him as a coverup, yeah that’s flat out murder.

Different contexts. Trannies aren’t women, don’t deserve and won’t receive the same protections.

As I’ve said many times and have been blasted in these threads for, I don’t care if a grown adult wants to play dress up. Good for him. But it’s dress up and he needs to stay in his lane. His costume doesn’t make him anything but a man in a costume.

Relativism only works inside the confines of objective reality. Extracting it as a comparative tool beyond is just part of the imaginative costume party.

This 100% and they will NEVER be women.

You can play dress up and do whatever you want in your personal life and should be able to without harm.

That doesn’t mean you get to force people to partake in your delusions and use it as a sword to trample all over actual women.

You can fuck right off with that.

100% aligned with my sentiment on the matter.

For some irony, Utah still allows firing squads for the death penalty.

None. When RGB died, not a single person celebrated her death. All most all expressed their condolences and sympathies and she was the antithesis of ever thing I believed and I did not celebrate her death, neither did almost all conservative leaning people. I am sure they were some small assholes, but they were not in anyway conspicuously expressing glee en masse.

How many businesses had to board up because of this incident? Who is worried about getting looted? Where are people burning cities to the ground? No where, why? because political violence is is the domain of the radical left. There is case after case after case. A tranny just targeted school children at church and killed them. Just the other day. Time after time, day after day the left have proven violent.

No more evidence is required. We have a stack of dead bodies as proof.

We don’t celebrate death, the left does. We didn’t want Joe Biden to die, we wanted him to do the right thing.

His father, who is a sherrif turned him in. They’re both registered republicans.

Really? Which side actively encourages violence against the other? I will give you a hint, it’s the left. You can try to deny it, but the evidence has, sadly, become overwhelming.

If stats are accurate… there are supposed to be 1 million indviduals who identify as Trans. Possibly more now.

So that works out to 5.6 per 100000 for that demographic .

The national average is 7.7 across the board.

Just figured id throw that out.

Why is that @ me? I already posted a similar link.

I normally try to avoid shadowy conspiracies, but this situation was wild, with suspects taken in an bystanders claiming police had the wrong guy, etc.

And while we do often have gun violence in the US, rooftop snipers and shots fired during speeches are pretty rare. It seemed like something from a movie.

Because I got the wrong button.

Where did you see he was a Republican? The article I posted made it sound like he was definitely a leftist. And it sounds like more than one person was involved.

I won’t deny that. And it’s always good to ask more questions as @SkyzykS said.

I think what separates conspiracy theories from healthy skepticism is that in conspiracies people have made up their mind before going throught all evidence and viewpoints.

Exactly. They reach a conclusion then look for evidence to support it.

In reality, we look at evidence then search for a conclusion, test it, keep it, reject it, etc.
