Did 20 minutes of LISS cardio this morning. My legs just felt so heavy from last night Im not proud to say I wussed out on the final 10 mins.
I’ve been training this week too, I just get tired of reposting it after I’ve already punched it all into the app on my phone.
Monday I did cambered bar bench again. It just feels safer than heavy dumbbells but I still get a heck of a stretch and some good DOMS.
Tuesday I did hack squats and stiff leg deadlifts as my main effort. I’ve always shied away from heavy stuff legs so I’m kind of trying these as something novel and because I wanted a hip hinge/hamstring movement that wasn’t my competition deadlift but would still target hams and lower back with heavy ish loads.

I’ll just add, even if you gained a few over Christmas, it’s only a few days lost and a few pounds, nothing you can’t undo. The road to 40-50 lbs of weight loss is much longer to that, and the quicker you get back to it the better! Good luck!

I’ve been pretty lax on the logging but I’ve actually been pretty decent on the diet front, I’m only up about 3 pounds. I’ve been getting my training in and a few sessions of cardio to boot.
Feeling more than ready to get back to the grind and posting regularly!

I’m basically back where I was before the Christmas and New Year’s holidays so I’m pretty pleased with that.
Had good training sessions this week, cambered bar bench press on Monday and hack squat machine on Tuesday. Still beating the logbook and setting small rep PRs pretty much every session. Did one 20 min LISS session on Monday and shooting for another one tonight
