I get some strange looks for sure but only one person actually asked about the prowler. One neighbor sometimes sits on his driveway and gives me a hard time, it’s all in fun though. Starting to really enjoy the prowler work, wish I could handle doing it more. Hopefully the rain will hold out Thursday and we can have another round.
So, how’s the stair walking going? =D
That’s funny about your neighbor. I could picture it; him sitting in a folding chair with a beer and umbrella watching you push the prowler. HAHA!

Not nearly as sore as I’d expected, might actually be getting used to it.
I always ask him to join us but he won’t. I should tell him his wife thinks he has bigger boobs than she does, her words not mine.
PICS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN! LOL
Oh shit, she said that? Damn. That’ll motivate me. Well not ME, since I’m a girl. But if I was him, then yeah lol
She did. Our wives were talking about boob jobs and she mentioned he was against the idea and jokingly I said he was just jealous because he didn’t have boobs, thats when she made the comment.
Sorry Matty no pics…yet!
Great work. Love the tire/prowler work. I use the sled pretty regularly now and really like it. But I do have prowler envy.
james
Thanks James, the prowler is certainly something I have a love/hate relationship with.
234.8 this morning, diet is rolling along just fine. The best part is I’m not starving all the time.
^ Dday how often are you on call? Do you just deload those weeks? Man I have been on call for the last 3 years 24/7/365 so I know what you mean about after hours.
exactly what are you doing to drop the weight?

I’m only on call every 5-6 weeks, sometimes it’s easy sometimes its hell. If I were smart I’d deload on those weeks but I usually just run my program and hope for the best. I can generally find an hour to get in a workout somwhere in there, may not be the right day but I get it done. Tonight I’ll do last nights work.
I could not handle always being on call especially in your field, do you get called a lot?

Mostly just diet. I am “training” to run the Warrior Dash, sort of, haven’t been doing as much running as I should but am walking almost daily.
My diet is a carb cycle, surge after training and one cheat meal per week usually Sunday. My target calories were 3660 but I had a hard time getting there and found that 2300-3k ish seems to be getting me close to 2lbs a week, the first week I missed that but seem to be catching the wave now.

I got used to it when you manage a state kind of have no choice to be effective, I probably only average an actual have to leave house go out to site once a month. However I get phone calls all the freaking time. But my company pays for my cell phone so its cool.
Glad to hear you’re going strong on the diet.
Do you have a time that you want to stop dieting or a goal weight that you want to stop dieting at?

Thanks Nikki. Well the real focus of this whole thread is training for the Warrior Dash, the bonus and easier thing to track is weight loss. The race in at the end of July and I’d like to lose 2lbs a week so about 24-28 lbs. I’ve always wanted to be under 200 so if things are going good by race time I might just go for that magic 199. At this point I’m really just winging it.

My group manages 30 sites around the city and a few hundred network devices with several thousand connections so if something goes down 95% of the time I’m rolling. The network is very stable however shit happens.
Heres a picture my son pulling a 12 lb dumbell handle, it was an 8lb PR, today is his 2nd birthday. Happy Birthday little buddy.
Wow great form! can I PM him for some pointers? Happy Bday!
