Right Foot, Left Foot

Thanks Matty. The key is superior hip flexability. He can literally squat so low he can sit on the ground flat footed.

Awesome pic. My son is the same way and it’s too bad that we lose that flexibility in the west. If you buy some light KBs he’ll deadlift it no problem. Does he watch you push the prowler and want to join? I’ll tell you that will be a beaming moment for you!

dday, the kid’s adorable. Check the Black Irish Basid thread, he’s got some videos of his kid. He gets all excited watching Daddy lifting and tries to imitate him.

Thanks James, that’s my sons name also, James Michael but we call him Ziggy. He pushes EVERYTHING, when we go to the store he’ll throw a fit until I let him push the shopping cart. When I got the prowler he tried to push it but he had just learned to walk so it didn’t move. I have a picture somewhere.
I’ve wanted kettle bells for sometime, you may have just given me an excuse.

Thanks Cav, I will look for that.

Ahh OMG he’s so cute. An 8# PR on his bday is awesome.

Sounds awesome, I may vaguely remember your Warrior Dash goal. It’s common on TN so hard to tell for sure.
199 is definetely possibly by time of the race, you’re doing well just winging it.

Thanks Nikki, I’m proud of him. That picture is actually from a month or two ago. He was doing pull ups at like 3 months, I held him obviously, need to post the video. He might need to lift tonight with me and see if he can get that 20lb db he’s been eyeing.

Deload deadlift

135x10
185x5
225x5
285x5

1 leg deadlift
4x10

pull ups
2x6-8

Really wanted to push the prowler last night but it was raining to hard once I was done lifting.

Diet is still on point, honestly this is my diet everyday. I need to figure out a different way to cook fish because I’m starting to have hard time choking it down. Right now I just back the fish with some bacon salt, suggestions? I’m not a chef.

6:45am 2 scoops whey 1 scoop Power Drive.
9:30am 2 fish fillets 1 serving almonds
12:30p 2 fish fillets cut of vegetables
3pm chicken and almonds
6pm Surge recovery
7pm 8oz chicken and vegetables
9pm 2 tbsp natural peanut butter and 1 scoop whey

Hey, I may have missed it but is there a reason you don’t have eggs in your diet? What about swapping out some of that fish with a tasty omelette?

I don’t know. Hadn’t really thought about it. In the mornings I don’t usually have time to cook them and during the day I don’t have a way. I would imagine that rewarmed eggs would be nasty? What I do normally is cook up a week or so worth of food so in the morning I can throw it in my lunch box. With my job I have to have food I can sometimes choke down cold, I’m 50-50 at a desk or in the field.
Any suggestions on how to make eggs portable?

Hard Boiled in sandwich bag 4-6 eggs is around 30gm of protein.

DUH!?!?! Ever have one of those times when someone points out something so obvious that you didn’t even consider it, then you feel like and idiot? That just happened to me, thanks DJ.
When giterdone suggested it all I could think about was scrambled and fried eggs. Think I’ll be boiling eggs for some variety.

Hahahaaha brother that is why I am on this site, there have been plenty of DUH moments for me myself.

Yeah, hard-boiled is a great option.

And if you have access to a microwave you can do scrambled eggs (actually you can add ham, cheese, peppers etc. too) in about 2 minutes. In your situation you could scramble up 4-5 eggs in a microwaveable dish that has a lid. Put whatever else you wanted in there. Do it the night before if the morning is tight for time. Take that to work, micro for about a minute, stir, micro another minute and you are good to go.

There’s a supplement called Gold Standard which is 100% egg white. Comes in 2 lb jugs. One scoop in a glass of water and you’ve got 25 gm protein. It stores at room temp.

That’s actually a really good option for days I know I’ll be in the office. Days when my schedule is questionable I’ll have to go with boiled or something else. Next week I’ll be adding some eggs!!!
Can’t believe I’m actually getting burnt out on a food. Normally I don’t care what I eat and will eat it over and over if it fits the bill just something about fish that’s starting to foul me out.
Thanks for opening my eyes fellas.

GNC carries it, at least most stores do. A good choice if you want to stay away from dairy based supplements. comes in vanilla and chocolate, the vanilla mixes easier. Helps if the water’s a bit warm. Not too expensive.

Last day of deload, I’m freaking glad.

Prowler work
2x prowler+90lbs pulling it backward down the forward back
2x prowler+140 low bar down high bar back
2x prowler+140lbs and 80lb bag low bar down high bar back
1x the bad decision in the video.

Honestly the last trip wouldn’t have been that bad but the damn tar in the road made it murder. The way bag I couldn’t keep the skid out of it, ass=kicked. Next time I’m going to bring some more plates out of the basement, need more weight.

237.4lbs that’s +3lbs since wednesday WTF?!?!?!?! Not sure what to say about that, no cheat meals, diet is the same as ever. Guess maybe retaining water for some reason? Guess we’ll see what the scales says next wednesday, if it doesn’t have a better number I need to adjust my diet.
