Need to work on keeping my chest up, to much forward lean. Think my shoulder can handle brining my elbows in now but I’m a little leary, everytime it gets better I make it worse. Sore today, tomorrow is going to be worse but I’m happy. Still have more to learn about the squat but the weights going up and little corrections are going to make a big difference.

Guess I need to eat like crap more often, PR’s be flying the last week or so. Felt good, really rocked through it. Had my mind of work crap all night and the next thing I knew I was done 20 minutes early. I did bitch out on shrugs, just wasn’t feeling it.
You sure know how to grind out the sets. Both your DLs and squats. Definitely some GMing going on in the squats. A tighter back and more upright chest would be the goal.

I just like to squat and do DL accessory work at the same time Need to really focus on tight back and chest up. Thanks Snap.
Hi dday. Congrats on the pr! Squats are getting better i see! I don’t want to get in your business but maybe think of driving the shoulders up and back as you come out of the whole? Seems to work for some?

KMC- Thanks, still more work to do on the squats but I’m happy with the progress. I liked the Z press, been wanting to try them for a bit and finally did. They will stay in my program. For some reason my traps were/are super sore, the only thing I can think is it’s from the Z presses.
Tonight I’m setting a DL PR 405x5. Write it down, it’s going to happen.

Last night was a fuster cluck. Didn’t get a chance to lift at all. Boss called me to his office to “help” him real quick with some circuits, this was about 2p. Left the office at 5:30p, I get off at 4p, didn’t get home until almost 6:30p. So TONIGHT! Tonight is the night, 405x5, if it effing kills me! (and it might)
Kill it D!!! and dont feel bad my boss usually comes into my office about 5:30 on Friday and it takes til 7 or 8 to get rid of him…thankfully he left at 1 today!!!
