Right Foot, Left Foot

Awesome to hear things are starting to go well for you and your wife and HUUUUGE respect for still getting in there and killing it with all the stuff you’ve got going on.

Congrats on the squat PR. Just saying PR doesn’t seem to do it justice. Under your circumstances it’s even more impressive.

^^^ I love these little word puzzles you keep setting us KP, where we have to arrange the words into a sentence.

I think it’s “You do impressive reps with the weights you handle”. Am I right? Do I win a prize?

Just kidding!

Awesome.

And why are so many of you PL and strength dudes IT guys?

First off thanks er’body. It feels fake typing thank you 100 times for some reason.

Fakeoldtoughguy- they’re getting there, we’re on the right track.

kmcnyc- I think it means we’re raising them right

snap- hope so do I. Much I thank you.

FB- lolz! Always count on you for a laugh.

CK- If you worked with the kind of idiots we do you’d have to have a way to releave some tension too.

BN and Cav- thanks for the laughs.

This working nights is for the birds, however I’ve got a ton of stuff done without all the distractions. Wrote a ton of code tonight that I was really dreading but it only took a few hours, so that’s a plus.
It was also a really nice day and I didn’t have to be in until midnight I played golf this afternoon, stupid effing game but it’s relaxing.

Sorry about the 3am rambles. For your amusement last nights squat video, FF to 33 sec.

Hey Im always up at 3am so ramble away, I love this graveyard shift!

 glad things are good in here, pretend i was with that last group and you already thanked me hehe

Im getting a “little” better at the box squats but they are really tuff for me.

squats look good- you are moving like two stories to get down there

working nights can be good sometimes

Yes, Bret. You win a prize. Whatever is the prize?

I do the best I can since English isn’t my first language.

Great music in that squat vid!

Just getting caught up. Glad to hear that all is well and your training is going great. Now go dust off that prowler!

james

Matty- glad you’re digging the grave yards, I never could get the hang of it.

Up- THANKS!!!

kmc- I know right! I’m all arms and legs. Thanks.

Snap- That’s Lamb of God- Something to die for (I think) it’s off the Hour Glass 2 CD. It’s pretty heavy all around but I like it.

James- Thanks buddy and yes the prowler needs dusted off. I actually enjoy pushing the prowler just need to find the time.

Last night back

Pretty good night of training if I do say so myself.

Gaining weight, not intentionally though. Bad diet - cardio(training)= +3lbs in the last month. Got my treadmill set back up and will be hitting that 4-5 days a week. Figure if I put it in writing maybe it will happen.

Anyway, have a nice weekend y’all.

God, those deads looked painful. You’ve got real determination.

great work on the deads.

Awesome work…I thought at 5, ok he is done…nope not even close…great effort…But where was your cheering section (dogs)?

Cav- Thanks. At the time they weren’t too bad, today they’re killing. Super sore.

dammut- Thank you.

OG- Thanks. I actually lost count of reps so I ground out a few more to make sure I got a decent amount of reps. Not sure where the dogs were, probably outside.

Honestly I don’t like to pull that many reps, 5-6 is really it. Next round I’m going to up the weight pretty good to avoid high reps.

So no longer working nights?

Nah, that was just a few days. We cut new DC power to our primary network and someone had to be here incase the contractors blew something up. I couldn’t handle doing it full time again, did it for a year that was 364 days too long.

Great effort on the deads. High rep deads are painful.

What’s your PR for 8 reps if that wasn’t?

Well I once did 390x10, then I weighed 10lbs more than now. That’s the most I’ve pulled for high reps. Something about 405lbs messes with my head so 405x4 is my next best pull. Think I’ll just skip 405 and go to like 415 or something. Dixiesfinest suggested if you have a mental block to a weight to just skip it, don’t know if it’ll work but worth a shot.

To answer your question, this was pretty much a PR.
