Love the basement lifting. Gives it a dungeon feel.
Yep, it’s my dungeon and I love it. My wife gets mad because I don’t ever clean it but I like it messy with chalk everywhere. I could do without all the dog hair but it adds character.
Solid work! Those deads looked great. I’m trying to get caught up on all the logs so I might have missed it but what are you weighing now? You’re looking quite lean.

WOW thanks! I’m running between 226-229 depending on the day. Been a little off the wagon lately with the diet and conditioning, just too much going on. This week I’ve vowed to get back on the horse and run’er dry.

Dday looks like we are weighing the same, your just about 3-4 inches taller.

Sorry about the ATL, bad game.
Well you’re much stronger than I am so it evens out
This was a crap weekend for me sports wise. UGA lost, ND lost, ATL lost and Jimmy Johnson wrecked out of the race.
I’m starting to worry about Matt Ryan, he sure seems to fall apart in big games. Seems to try to make too much happen by himself instead of letting the team make the plays. Checked the Falcons message boards last night (what a train wreck those folks are) they keep saying the DB’s are the problem. The end result was the failure of the secondary but I can’t blame them, they were on the field for almost 3 quarters because the O was just bad. 3 turn overs sure didn’t help.
Good night over all. The 2 rep PR is a below 90* record or proper squat. I’ve squatted 300x10 but they were 1-2in high. Starting to really get comfortable with heavier weight on my back again. It’s been some time since I’ve held much weight with all the learning to squat again stuff.
Thanks guys. At this point I’m only using the box to make sure I’m getting to depth. At some point down the road I’ll incorporate some actual box squat.
What depth are you shooting for? Right now you look about two inches high when you’re on the box. Now if you aren’t shooting for meet depth then who the hell cares. I actually think some good can come from squating a hair high if it helps you push your load.
I just didn’t want you to get surprised if you were going to do a meet or if some A-hole got pissy if you posted the video in another forum.

Either way thats good squatting and great effort.
No plans to compete Joe, just looking for about 90* or close. What I’m looking at is femur parallel to the ground? Is that wrong?
What are you seeing that says a hair high? Hip crease to knee? If I should adjust I will. Basically just want it close enough where people wouldn’t hassle me about it. I’m feeling it where I want to but also don’t want to half ass it.
Thanks.
