Did NOT want to lift last night. Sat in the most uncomfortable chair for 5 some hours during her treatment and it wore me out. Finally just got off my ass and got to it.
Couldn’t find the groove, felt like I was pushing with only one leg, couldn’t seem to get my right leg to fire properly. Gave it everything so I can’t be upset.

Great to hear the positivity dday!

Dday please tell the wife she has people praying hard and sending love. You guys will beat this I have faith.

I happened to stumble upon your log here…sending my best wishes to you, your wife and whole family.

My thoughts are with you and your wife dday.

Hadn’t done any kind of speed pulls for some time and certainly hadn’t done any band work for a bit, it was nice.

227.3 this morning. This weight loss thing is going but taking it’s time about it. Seems that about 1900 calories is the right number.

Sorry I’m not keeping up with everyones log like I’d like. Got assigned a task of deploying an entirely new fiber optic network for the southern half a Kansas City. Things are going to get real busy real fast. Pretty awesome though, lots of stuff that I’ve not worked with but getting to work 1 on 1 with serious Cisco engineers is one hell of an opportunity.

I feel the same way about it, it’s going but slow. Are you still using myfitnesspal to track?

I think everyone understands that life sometimes pushes logging off the list. The job sounds cool; working with engineers is a whole different world.

Everyone here understand that you’ve got a hell of a lot going on right now. Its impressive you are still training and coming by at all. Congrats on the weight loss.

Busy is good. It keeps your mind off of things and gives you something else to think about.

Don’t worry about not keeping up with other logs but please keep us posted on how your family is doing.

Not actively using myfitnesspal right now. I figured out a base meal plan and just eat the same thing pretty much every day. My first 4 meals of the day are always the same, dinner is the only exception.

Haven’t met the engineers yet but am about to. Should be interesting. Just thought about something, they’ll probably buy lunch! Guess I’d better get MFP pulled up to log the carnage

DJS and James, well everyone for that matter. Things have leveled off pretty nicely now with the wife, she has chemo on Fridays and that’s about it so we’re going on with life like nothing is wrong. Kind of have to, can’t let the stress get us down. We’ve moved passed wondering about the what if’s and are focusing on the right now.

Side note: Anyone here sell or know anything about life insurance? Not sure if she’s even insurable at this point but we don’t have enough. I have 3x my salary on myself through work, she has very little.

Lesson to everyone, ladies check your boobies and everyone get more life insurance than you think you’ll need.

Alright y’all gotta run, the nerds will be here soon and I’ve got a route to plan.

I do the same thing with meals. The only meal that varies, at least during the week, is dinner. Its boring but very easy to follow.

Definitely Dday, keep us posted on the family.

What exactly are you doing with engineers? Are you a manager?

Joe- yep it’s boring but easy. I do try to switch it up every few weeks or whenever I get sick of a certain food.

Cav- The engineer was here to survey all of out locations in preparation for deploying our new network gear. Turns out it wasn’t even Cisco it was a sub contractor. Nice guy but not nearly as cool as Cisco, would love to pick their brains.
I’m not a manager, just a network engineer. Cisco engineers are next level, guys who really know what’s up, I am a mear speck on their boot knowledge wise.

doing the same thing with meals here. will add/subtract somethings, for instance on cardio only days, I cut out some carbs, on squat day I always go down and get some calorie laden crap from the cafeteria… but you have to change at least the spices every so often, for instance right now I am gagging down on sirloin and green beans, this is going to be rotated out real soon…

1900 calories a day sounds like torture!
