Ugh. Shit. I don’t pray. But I will be thinking of you.
Does your wife exercise? Anything – even walking – might help clear her mind and relieve stress. How old is she?

Thank you everyone
Cav- Fortunatly I have excellent insurance.
James- She’s starting to embrace the whole situation and it’s helping her mentally…I think.
Matty- Yes it is, we’re all over the place right now.
DJS- doing my best.
Giterdone- We’re certainly hopeful that the new drugs work like the Docs believe.
BN- Yep, not only the game but the rules as well.
Kpsnap- She’s 34 and is active but doesn’t exercise. She did ask me this morning to help her with a program, which I’ve been thinking about for a bit. Since it’s nice we’ll probably doing a lot of GPP stuff. She’s gonna love the prowler.
Yesterday the in laws showed up with trailer full of sand bags and new sand box for our son. Grandpa likes to build things so he put together a pretty kick ass sand box with a roof and doors that flip up out like a bench, basically something to keep the animals out of the sand. Glad I hadn’t gotten around to lifting when they came buy, moving 25 50lb sand bags from the road to the back yard in 100* heat kicked my butt. Oddly sore this morning but it was a worth it.
So sad to read that…we’ll pray harder and louder for your family!!
You’ve got a cool family. So when does Grandpa build a barbell set for the little one?
So sorry to hear that it’s worse than you thought dday. I shared your story with my wife and she had tears in her eyes, it’s a situation every couple dreads being in, I think we can all relate to what you’re going through.
I’ve got nothing worthwhile to say, but we’re thinking of you both buddy.
Man, sorry to hear that news. My background is molecular genetics, so if you need any studies decoded let me know.
Dday hang in there.
I’m sorry Dday. If there’s anything we can do just ask, you know laundry, cooking. JK. Finding out info and such. And the only thing that I can say is be as aggressive with treatment options. If one doc tells you that is all there is go get a second opinion. do not give up hope.
Just catching up dday, sorry to hear the latest news…keep positive and hang in there!
Stay strong brother. We’re all sending our thoughts and positive energies your way.
just getting caught up here. very sorry. stay strong, thoughts are with you
Thank you all for your thoughts, support and help. We’re going to take it day by day and hope for the best.
This log has gone is a direction I hadn’t anticipated so now that things have calmed down and we have a direction with her treatment I’m going to leave the cancer talk behind. I want to get back to the reason I’m here and that’s to train and learn. If something major changes I will let you all know.
Going back to work today and hope to not miss many more days, really looking forward to some form of normalcy.
Thanks again.
Don

3px10
3p+25x10
That’s all I had time for but really happy with it. Pretty sure that I have never pulled 405x4 before, maybe but I don’t think so. Deads felt really good, haven’t done them in a few weeks and it helped. Been thinking about alternating heavy weeks with speed weeks for deads, lots of folks seem to have success doing it this way so I’ll give it a try.
Tonight hope to do shoulders. My shoulder is still giving me fits, however it’s only certain motions. Have an ortho appointment the 15th.
DDay for the win…nice PR
Great job on the PR
Nice work.
Even if it isn’t a PR, 405 DL for reps still impressives me. Congrats!
thats hella pulling dday, big work.
Stopping by to send some good vibes your way.
Thank fella’s. Haven’t been around to post or read up much lately between work and Dr visits I’m lucky to pop in once a day.
Anyhow, shoulders tonight

Didn’t make through the military pressing. When healthy I do MP from the clavicle however with my shoulder buggered up I need to keep the bar around chin level so as not to aggravate it. That last part I forgot until the last set of 125, it hurt pretty good so /MP.
Body weight has been hovering between 227 and 228 the last week or so which is surprising since I’ve been either eating crap or not eating much. Still trying to get some walking in in the mornings but that’s about all the cardio I’ve had time for.
It’s a process.
