You bet. Gonna keep going, right foot left foot, we’ll get to the goal soon enough.

I guess it was during those few weeks you were moving, vaca and new job Matty.
New guy Bob getting on the health bandwagon, bunch of us were trying to help him.
It’s too bad, the guy really needed to commit to the program for health reasons alone. Hopefully he’ll come back seemed like a nice guy.

You betcha! Fingers and toes crossed. Thanks
the only thing I could say on the squats is try to drive the elbows forward more… it well help keep you upright, not that your folding over alot but when it gets heavyier you will and that will fix it.

Totally agree with you, problem is right now I have an F’d up shoulder and pushing my elbows in like I should hurts something awful. I’m also squatting high bar to take pressure off the shoulder. Please don’t take this as I’m ignoring your advice or anything just right now it can’t happen.
Had family come over tonight, good family not crazy get the fuck out my house family so I didn’t get to lift. Sucks I was really looking forward to training back tonight. Tomorrow is already spoken for, hello Saturday marathon session.
hey man everyone has there limitations I cant do cleans because I cant hold the bar in my fingers and on my chest just not flexable enough
oh and I am super happy that the prognosis is good for your wife…
Hey man… This is my first time venturing over here in above 35. I had no idea about your wife. Very sorry to hear that my man.

Thanks for stopping in, there are a good bunch over here in the old folks home.
Well, turns out the surgeon doesn’t know shit. We saw the oncologist yesterday who ordered another MRI to check her liver (I think I said it was in her kidneys before, it is liver). After getting the results of the latest MRI it’s been determined to be much worse than we’d thought. It is stage 4 not 2, which is only treatable not curable like it would have been at a stage 2 or 3. She’s also going to go for a bone scan to make sure it hasn’t gotten to the bones.
She starts chemo Thursday and we’re meeting with clinical trial folks Tuesday. There is a drug that binds with the cancer cell and in effect turns it off, that’s the dumbed down version, she will be part of that study.
It’s going to be a much tougher fight than we’d expected. However we’re still hopeful there is a very good chance to get it under control and she’ll have a long healthy life.
Oddly she’s much more stable now, mentally, than she’s been since we first found it. Me on the other hand, no so much, still staying strong but losing my faith a little.
This afternoon some poor unsuspecting barbell is going to pay for the week I’ve had.
Sorry to hear it, Dday. I hope your insurance is all paid up.
That’s tough news. Good to hear that her spirits are still high and it probably has to do with having had time to think about everything and it sounds like there’s actually a plan in place. Sometimes there’s comfort in knowledge.
My thoughts go out to you and your family and I’m crossing my fingers on the new drug!

Damn dude what a rollercoaster, Im sorry you guys have to go through this.
Hang in there dday.
dday I’m sorry to hear that. Today’s medicine can do amazing things. Focus on the positive.
And beat the fuck out of those weights.
Damn–the game really did just change, very sorry to hear that.
