Thank you Up.
Only got to use the shoes twice but so far I like them a lot. Super stable and squat depth is much easier.
Thanks damutt.
Yesterday was tough on her, her fuck up brother and his white trash family showed up for unrelated reasons. They come in destroy our house, the sociopath daughter doesn’t listen and the baby eats dog turds whiles mom and dad watch(I’m not kidding). Basically a train wrecked into the house. Add that mess to our mess and she’s pretty stressed out. The MRI is this afternoon, we’re hoping for good news but I assume we’ll have to wait until next week for the results?
Tomorrow is race day!!! Checked some results from other races, there was an 80 year old woman who completed it 35:27 with a 10m mile pace, no chance I’m going compete with that.

Dont you just love inlaws /sarcasm.
Oh hell NO you will beat that 80 year old bitch into the ground, you will dominate her, you will knock her ass down if need be.
Okay that is much but I think you can take her.
Dude, sorry about the inlaws. Sounds horrible. Maybe clean guns in the living room while drinking Beam straight out of the bottle? That would be my solution…
I agree with Pete on that one but something tells me that wouldn’t scare them away. Perhaps it’s time to install metal shutters so that you can lock the house down in cases like this.
Good luck on the race! Don’t forget that “rubbin’s racing” so if you need to tackle that old lady then so be it…
james
At least you’ve got a great excuse to get out of the house tomorrow. Break a leg! No, wait - that’s for actors.
Best of luck for the race, man…and here’s to a stellar MRI!! Pete is right, but make sure they are loaded…targets of opportunity!

Break the old lady’s leg!
Have fun in the race -hard is good because that will just melt the stress away; your body will be bitchin’ and moanin’ though!
MRI update. Got there 30 minutes earlier than we needed to be, checked in, waited around until they finally took us back. Once we got to the back we found out that the magnet cooler?? had gone out right before we went back. Hung out for another 30-45 minutes to see if GE could fix it but no dice. Get to go back Wednesday at 7:45am to try it again. Wife is now in full stress the F out mode so we went on about a 2hr drive just jamming the radio and driving country roads, seemed to help a little.
On the in-laws, I’m a dick. Shortly after my last post my sister in-law decided it would be nice to clean our entire house so my wife didn’t have to. I fail.
Been carbing up and resting for the last 2 days.
Thanks again to everyone for your encouragement, kind words and thoughts. Will get through everyone’s logs as soon as I can, haven’t been online much been trying to keep moving. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some guns to clean and wild turkey to drink.
have a great race, hang tough.
you can always shoot an inlaw- clean house or not and say it was the wild turkey

kmcnyc- Thank you. There is a good chance one day I’ll kill the daughter in self defense.I have had dreams where I wake up and she’s sitting on my chest with a butcher knife, some real mental issues.
DJ- you got it bro
G- Thanks for reminding me of that saying, it’s so true.
Patch, Joe, Soldog- thank you, gonna give what I got.

You could try the same approach on the in-laws, maybe they’d visit less often…although…having seen you hump the hell out of that Bosu ball, maybe they’d visit MORE often…I don’t know.
Seriously, best of luck on the run. If you see that 80 year old lady, elbow her in the face and stamp on her neck. Take no prisoners.
