LOL me too. I also enjoyed in one of the other videos when he talked about how much synthol sucks and says he doesnt touch it (anymore).

Im sure its not great to discuss all the gear you’re on when you have sponsorships, but you’d rather see him just avoid the topic all together rather than bullshit you.

I know this may seem a stupid statement but I never realised how much of an actual freak he was until this vid…

What a fucking beast, makes you feel like a fucking insect foetus.

Thanks for the share, gonna save the vid for a study break later haha

Love his chats with ric[/quote]

Ric Drasin reminds me of Dr. Wayne Dyer when he talks.

But why would the original statement not be true? I like the fact that he’s always very straightforward about what he uses and has used; I don’t see why you assume he must be running a cycle while he’s rehabbing an injury

imo, rehabbing an injury is a good time to be on aas… keeps you from losing too much size

I dont think that guys been off AAS for a couple decades. Yes its an assumption, and may be incorrect.

I also dont believe there isnt synthol in those arms, and i dont believe any bodybuilder with any kind of spotlight on him would ever admit to using it. So of course he denies it.

fair enough, but wouldnt the hgh he’s running be good enough for that purpose?

ok, I may have misheard but I thought in one of the original videos he basically admitted to doing everything… he said something to the effect of “it’s my job to try everything thats out there, AAS synthol insulin peptides everything.”

Whenever someone brings up simeon panda claiming to be natty there’s all these retarded disussions about whether he is or not, then there’s arguments that he’s coward for not admitting it but he really can’t because of his sponsorships blah blah blah. But then when rich piana admits to using literally everything people jump in and say he does even more than he really says. just seems odd. I mean maybe he is right that never coming off is suboptimal and he’s just telling it like it is. As far as his sponsorships go there’s no taking back what he’s already said so what more harm could he do anyway?

I know it would help, especially for recovery of connective tissues and other nonmuscular damage etc, but I mean would it be ENOUGH by itself? IIRC correctly in the steroid forum there was some thread in which someone pulled a muscle on cycle and the general consensus was just end cycle, run pct

He claims he tried synthol. I think he’s done more than that. Im not stating my opinion as fact, so take it or leave it.

And i was referring to him coming off for an injury, not in general.

yes well, most of what goes on in the steroid forum is complete idiocy… I highly doubt that Rich cycles…

would it be enough? that depends on a number of variables.

If you use continuously you don’t consider that running a cycle (because for there to be a cycle there needs to be an end and a re-start)?

I suppose thats true.

no I consider it blasting and cruising… which I guess is a form of cycling…

some guys just blast though…

Exactly what I wanted to say. Maybe the off time is not really off, rather than 4-6 weeks of 200mg test only possibly with a tiny bit of deca.

Rich essentially states that he’s been juicing on and off since at least the late 80s (for what it’s worth he would be a teenager at that time I think). So I have no problem believing that he’s been off of gear for 7 weeks at the time of this video. Since he’s more straightforward about his use than pretty much everybody else, I’m inclined to take him at his word for it. It’s not like his physique would completely deflate in 7 weeks of zero gear (especially if he’s still training, using GH, and on top of his nutrition). He generally says he weighs 290; maybe he’s 280 in the video and has lost 10 lbs of muscle in the past 7 weeks, who knows. I believe there is clearly some “foreign” substance (synthol, PMMA, etc.) in his arms, delts, and probably other areas. I’m pretty sure that stuff would stay intact regardless of whether he’s on or off.

I’m in no way endorsing Mutant products, but it’s nice to see that they are clearly allowing Rich to keep his sponsorship while being forthcoming about his gear use. I have a hard time seeing other supplement companies doing that, but I could be wrong.

Lastly, it’s an interesting paradox in how Rich is fairly articulate, rational, honest, and even helpful with his advice while simoultaneously having the appearance of a total douche bag. Those two things seem to rarely if ever go together. The paradox is in that his appearance is probably what initially got me and some others to click on his youtube videos (basically a “who the fuck is this douche? I’ve gotta watch this trainwreck” mentality) And the first videos seemed to further confirm this, especially the “Cars, Pitts, and Tatts” segment and the like. But then when he talks about nutrition and training he is surprisingly non-douchey. I find it interesting from a marketing standpoint.

You do know MANY bodybuilders are compulsive liars, right?
