RFL 3.0

Did you make it through the refeed Billy?

Im down to the last few days on this diet…wondering if I’ve put a dent on the scale at all. I know it shouldn’t matter but I want to get to 165 just to prove that I can.

Good luck, and keep us updated too!

Down to 210 today.

congrats, Chim!!!

As much as I didn’t want to weigh myself, I did and…the scale didn’t budge.
Almost hulk smashed it like I did the last one.
Maybe I could have subtracted a couple of pounds, since I’ve been ‘pounding,’ the veggies.

Obviously I’ve gotten leaner…I can tell by pics.

I’ll be taking a break though. It’s frustrating as hell… I get to this point, get burned out, gain 5 lbs back and start over. Getting past this point seems impossible at times.

If you’re looking leaner at the same weight that means you’re not losing any muscle which is awesome! Seriously, keep at it and you’ll get even better results!

Hey MID, Just in case you should get your bodyfast tested by a skilled practioner using 7 sites. Also, have the same person do it once a week. Sometimes pics can fool you, such as lighting, angles, etc. I did this when I did the RFLD way back then.

keep dieting?? :open_mouth:

Just don’t get discouraged. You’ve made awesome progress and have nothing to be bummed about.

uh, thanks fnf…I think.

Chim- I’m not giving up! just taking a break.

I did 2 rounds as a cat 1 and nodda… I think that’s my body’s way of saying SCREW YOU LADY!

Sounds like it could be water weight, I blame your womanly cycles. Check again in a month, it will be better.

Hey MID, Hope you didn’t take it the wrong way. I was like you following the diet strictly and the scale was hardly moving. But when I started getting my bf tested every week from a friend and he told me my bf was dropping, it eased my mind.
I got the idea from Polqiuin to take bf tests every week to know where you’re really at.

FnF! Makes sense…

The scale lies anyway. I went for several months without weighing myself and I was fine. (cause I smashed my scale and was too cheap to buy another one)

I’ve always gone by how I look in the mirror/ measurements. I have a lot of pics as well…you can kinda see where I’ve come from if you look in my profile.

I have some calipers actually, but never bothered to use them. Maybe some rough measurements wouldn’t be bad?

I would stick with RFL cause I’m stubborn like that. But I’m itching to do MORE activity and MORE training, volume/frequency wise.

I’m still keeping the protein high, fats kinda low, but bumping the carbs up through oat bran, veggies and rice cakes after training.

EasyRhino-
could be…you never know!

Maybe it would have been more helpful to weigh in every day like a lot of people do.

I’ll give it another go middle of next month.

Here’s an update pic.

I’m around 208 now, considering taking a week off of the diet since I’m bored out of my mind eating the same food.

Another pic, trying to flex my traps:
