Technically my last two are monster PRs, however they’re also in a suit. Meh
PS. I got my first exertion rash on my cheeks. It was the first thing my mom pointed out to me when I got home. Hopefully it goes away before the wedding I have tomorrow…
Woo Hoo - congrats!

Thanks!! I was happy, but wasn’t overly excited about it because I didn’t really have to work for it… lol
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Sorry, got that out of my system. No, I am not getting married, just going to the wedding of two of my friends. However, knowing me, I WOULD heavy squat the day before and have squat suit kisses and exertion rashes all over my body

Humor meter is in working order I see - glad to provide a bit of comic relief…

Gear Whore!!!
Seriously, considering that you’ve taken a break from squatting heavy lately, that sounds pretty good.
I know. I’m now officially a cheater as well
As an aside, I remembered another hilarious story from today… Two of the guys were wrapping my knees with this new ‘start at the top, end at the top, knot it’ technique. So one of them was straddling my leg wrapping, the other was off to the side, holding the beginning of the wrap. They started it pretty high and when they pulled the first rotation tight, my quad totally bulged out really huge. I already had one knee wrapped so my brain wasn’t functioning properly… I said “Oh my god, look at the size of that bulge!” and I pointed. Little did I realize I pointed directly at the guy who was wrapping me’s package at the same time as he was wrapping me. Everyone heard this and laughed hysterically because they didn’t know what I was actually talking about.
He said in his 58 years he had never heard that and was especially grateful because it came from a young pretty girl. I tried to explain after that squat what exactly I meant when they were wrapping me for the 315, but they wouldn’t hear it. So now, I’m the chick that told the OPA president he had a sizeable bulge. Yep.

SWEET SQUATS COURT!!! You rock! =D I am MUCHO JEALOUS!
Thanks Mol Great deadlifts today btw!
It’s amazing what the equipment does, however everyone was happy that I was handling the weight on my back well. I’m excited to see what I can do the more I use it.
I have to get the straps shortened this week and once I do will see if it helps me at all off the floor in DL. That would be sweet

Congrats on the squat. You have to know that the recipient of the bulge comment would have loved it.
Good numbers you cheating bitch.
I may now have joined you in the realm of cheating bitch, but at least I’m not a jealous bitch. You wish you could have seen “the bulge” hahahaha.
Awesome job on your squats. It is hard to just walk out 315lbs Have you looked up the squat records for your weight class? What squat suit are you using?

When is your next meet, Court?
Hey Stranger!
It’s gonna be June 6th. And I made the executive decision tonight that I’m not dieting down to make 67.5kg. I’m going to clean up my diet so I have more energy, but I’m likely going to lift as a lighter 75kg… much less stress and much more food that way :)
Not a stranger…I read your thread every day. You’re really kicking ass! I know you’ll do well.

Honestly, I didn’t even think about the weight. With this club, I’m in the zone as soon as I touch the bar. There could be children running and screaming everywhere and I don’t think I’d notice. I’m glad I handled the weight well on the walkout since the weight wasn’t heavy to squat…
As far as records, I’m moving up to 75kg. The squat record there is actually lower than at 67.5 lol. It’s 170kg, so 375lbs. A ways to go yet
I’m using a loose (40) Titan Superior. It’s been passed around for a while so is broken in and it’s just up to me to get used to it now. I could get into a 38, but don’t plan on trying just yet.
I had a rather bleh session at the gym tonight. I just couldn’t leave my personal shit at the door. Thankfully I didn’t plan on doing anything heavy, so I just sort of wandered around like a lost puppy.
Warm up, foam rolling, mobility, etc

I also dropped my squat suit off to get the straps shortened. One of the Niagara guys told his devastating story on Friday about how he had taken a brand new suit in to get shortened, explained in detail what he needed, and she still cut the original seam, cut the straps and resewed them. He told her from “Italian to Italian” that he was disappointed in her. Apparently that’s not nice to say…
Anywho, I dropped mine off and explained about 1400 times what needed to be done and what they could and could not do. I’m hoping they don’t fuck it up. I’ll go get it on Wednesday and told my Italian friend that he’ll have to come with me to tell her he’s disappointed if she fucks up mine (different Italian lady). Everyone keep your fingers crossed!
Oh and also, my body is so f-ing sore from dancing around all Saturday night at the wedding in my high heels. My calves are tight as hell, as are my hips. Serves me right for having a blast drinking and dancing all night
I have to say that I looked sexy doing it though (at least the drinking, I’m not much of a dancer)…
Come to think of it, this may have had a hand in me having a lacklustre session today - the after party continued until after 5am, so my energy today was abysmal at best…

Firstly, up the weight on the Chest Supported T Bar Row. I threw 15lbs on but apparently you were done. Although your jaw must be tired from all the yapping you did with O’s nameless boyfriend.
And the chest press machine is called a Hammer Strength Seated Chest Press.

I struggled to get the 8th rep with the 45s…what do you mean you threw 15lbs on? I’m confused. I had no gas yesterday (energy ya dirtbags)… As for O’s nameless boyfriend, I found out he’s married. I thought he had told me before he was divorced (which he is) but apparently he’s been remarried for 2 years… so sorry O, no more nameless boyfriend for you.
And for the record ddot, I prefer my names for the machines…
Oh and also, who goes to the gym with their gf the night of their birthday? You’re such a loser
