Review of 'Muscle Revolution' By CW

With the lifting routines such as BBB, is there a recommended tempo or time under tension range we should aim for?

Great review! I wanted the book, but this review was the deal-sealer for me. I got it today and I’m really enjoying the reading. Thanks for the review, and thank you to Chad for all the work he does around here.

This book is a must have for any fitness library.

I started Big Boy Basics last week and at first I thought 8 sets of 3 Reps at 80% of my 1rep max was going to be a pretty easy workout. I was totally and completely wrong. Chads rest time cycle is what really kicks you in the ass. 60 seconds of rest goes by awful fast when you are lifting heavy.

After 8 years of steady lifting I wish I would have had this information when I started.

I’ve decided that I ahave to get this book. Just gotta figure out where I’m going to get the money from (I’m a college student). Can’t wait though.

Great book…I just wish there was an index to make it easier to look up all the awesome info.

I am no big huge monster, or any super brain as far as training goes, but I have to throw in my take on this book. I have a whole lot of books in my own “library” of training recources, and this one is by far the best!
It is a complete recource, dealing with every aspect of training and diet. It converts a whole lot of technical sciene into easy to understand, and impliment form. It reads well, is interesting as well as informative, and leaves no stone unturned. From strength to hypertrophy, to conditioning, to body comp, you name it.
Mr. Waterbury has done all the “leg work” to make the complicated, confusing science, and make it accessible to ANYONE!! Heck, if a farm kid from missouri can get it, anybody can!!

If you guys are like me, I have a problem changing routines and also not pounding my body each and every workout.
This book will take care of that for you. You will be changing workouts about every month and some workouts are lighter, others are heavier.

My problem is I am too damn spontaneous.
I show up at the gym and think to myself “Hey, I need to change workouts” and find it kind of difficult to come up with something off the top of my head.

With these workouts already laid out, that is no longer an issue.
