Saw somewhere CT recommending SGHP making a visual change quickly.
I brought them back into my routine.
4 sets of 3 only addition to shoulder training
4 sessions.
I felt that it helped, but when a friend noticed…Outstanding. She is a competitive bodybuilder.
I’m sold again.
I think they are helping my posture as well.
Excellent! One of my absolute favorite exercieses.
Do you rotate in in and out? Use every shoulder session?
I think I am still responding to it, but if the benefit drops, I may drop it for a bit.
I am horrible at power snatch from the hang, so maybe I need to bring it in for a few weeks?
I do kinda like violent push presses as well.
If you want to use variations of the olympic lifts mostly for aesthetic purposes, then I would suggest a muscle snatch from the hang instead of a power snatch.

I just love doing it so much that I don’t really ever take it out completely (might not be a good thing haha). Sometimes I use it as part of the Layers program; other times I just find a way to work it in on a shoulder or pulling day.
Did the muscle snatch from the hang, 2 build up sets, 1 decent level difficulty set, 3 sets of 3 of SGHP. Sapped me of performance on my 1 heavy DB press. I was fine with that. I know soreness is not a perfect indicator of a productive workout, but today, the day after, there is a good bit of mild soreness, but mostly tightness. In a good way.
The muscle snatch I forgot how much I enjoy.
