resting

when people say that your mucles develop when your not in the gym. does that mean after the gym or on rest days. ( my restday is monday.)

You rest once a week? so you are training 6 days a week? you aren’t going to see any development unless you are an incredibly gifted individual

Simon, judging from your post you are pretty new at this. 6 days a week of weight training? What is your split like? Are you juicing? Try doing a search of the main site using “recovery” as your keyword. Hope this helps.

Any time you’re not training, you’re building muscle, as long as the time between workouts isn’t too long. Do anything to maximize yourr recovery ability, don’t stand when you can sit, don’t sit when you can lay down, etc.
