Rest Pause vs 3 Sets Max Reps

On isolation movements and chins and dips, what would be the best for hypertrophy…

  1. Rest pause sets, or…

  2. 3 sets of Max Reps with 2 min rest between sets

Both are achieving failure 3 times each, but the 3 sets of max reps has more volume than the rest pause set. Thibs what are your thoughts?

I wouldn’t use rest pause with dips or chin personally, but rest pause done correctly would be my vote between what you listed. but it also has to fit into your total trading program and goals. You can also periodize and switch back and forth between methods
