Wow some of these comments are scary, you all are assholes plain and simple and I see there is no point arguing with you. I never said they weren’t a problem, I simply said to stop calling them illegal and be a little kinder. This terminology spreads especially to your kids, you have zero idea what it’s like to be called an alien or illegal, kids actually cry about being called these words.
And if you can’t realize most of this country is just a bunch of stolen land or that you came from immigrants too, you’re an idiot. “But we stole the U.S. fair and square damn immgrints” “I deserve to be an American I mean my parents fucked here, I don’t wanna share any of the opportunity I have fuck that.”
And someone mentioned shooting them fuck you, if you break the law we should kill you huh.
My last post on the subject because talking to mini Tom Tancredo’s is a huge waste of time.

To your first comments, they are here illegally. That makes them illegals, and if their children are so weak and feeble as to become disfunctional over their parents being called illegals, then maybe they need to be weeded out of the gene pool. Children, for a very long time have survived far worse just fine.
To your other comments. Realize this DUMBASS. No land here was “Stolen”. This land was conquered. There is a huge difference. God btw, didn’t come down from heaven and grant rights to these lands to the Indians. They came from somewhere else and took over what was here and those tribes not nomadic, conquered hunting grounds from other tribes. The Aztecs, as a matter of fact conquered enormous amounts of lands from other tribes far more brutally then the white man did with the Indians. People have been conquering land from others since the beginning of civilization. Pull your head out of your ass and try leaning some real facts about history.
One more thing. Seeing that your location states “Japan”, who the fuck are you to comment anything about what happens here, FUCKTARD!
I live in the states FUCKTARD and I never said shit about the white man, or anything about Aztecs. Your argument says well shit if it has been done in history that makes it ok. People have been raped in history is that ok, is slavery suddenly ok now too fuck you.

Q. What is a criminal?
A. A person who breaks the law

A. Makes entry into the US at other than an inspection station a CRIME.
For all you logical people, lets do some logic.
If criminal = someon who commits a crime
and
If Entry without inspection = A crime
then
Someone who enters without inspection (undoccumented alien) = CRIMINAL
You wanted to look at this logically not emotionally. Here its is, logically they are criminals.
Everybody has committed a crime this holds no water. Ever had a drink underage criminal, ever smoked weed criminal, ran a red light, littered, stolen, you are a criminal.

I never implied that everyone is an angel, but simply explaining why we call Illegals illegal. I am sorry but is not the United States job to provide for mexicans and any other foreigners either. This is part of the reason our schools are failing, our jails are over-crowded, and I have to select 1 for english in an english speaking country.

Have you ever have the unfortunate experience of trying to drive in Mexican cities? Its a fucking nightmare because the scum there have absolutely no regard for the law and feel that they are entitled to occupy any space they want on the road at any time with zero regard for others they are sharing the road with. It seems they apply the same thought(lessness) process about the continent they share with others as well.
I have to ask; do you ascribe a thoughtless sense of entitlement and a deep-seated disrespect for the law to crappy drivers in your own country as well, or is it just Mexico?

I believe that many of the opinions expressed here are based on emotions rather than logic. It seems that most people are drawing fallacious inferences from correlated factors that are not really causal in nature. “Illegal” immigration responds to market forces, as you may have suspected. “Illegal” immigration generally observes a common pattern, high influx of immigrants when the economy is booming and the opposite when the case is reversed. These immigrants self-select geographically into the markets where their “skills” are most valuable - this should be a sequitur from the fact that they need to provide for their personal expenses and sustenance. As someone previously expressed, there are various mechanisms that jurisdictions use to levy taxes upon individuals (e.g. sales, excise, income, intangibles, net worth, general consumption, etc) and immigrants, by default, invariably fall into the set of taxed individuals merely by their existence - it’s delusional to think that they obtain all the goods and services that they consume from the underground economy. However, as of 1996 (when Clinton signed PRWORA into law), unlawful immigrants are disqualified from receiving federal assistance. To concisely summarize my point, if we define Net Cost or Benefit to the economy as you would define any profit identity, then Pft = (Tax Revenue * Number of individuals) - (Costs of serving those individuals). From a purely utilitarian perspective, allowing unlawful immigrants in the economy seems to be a profitable proposition. This is consistent with what we would expect in a free market economy as equilibrium should be reached at a given point and the supply side (unlawful immigrants) would lack incentives to exist in the market in excess of equilibrium (i.e. they would go back to their place of origin).
The profit you claim is limited to the company that hires illegal aliens, not profitting illegal aliens themselves. They are taxed at minimum wage and send a good portion of their money back home. So how, with the remaining limited money they keep, after paying to survive (food, rent, etc) do they create a profit? If you mean a profit versus what they make in Mexico, I would agree with you, but only that reason.

But your very first action in the country is a crime? How do you defend that kind of lack of credibility, when the very first thing you do is break the law?
By the way, those people “who are looking for a better life,” did this shit I am posting below. They raised a Mexican flag over a US Post Office in Maywood, California during a march.
Nothing says “we want to be a part of this country” than watching this video.
I AM CALLING OUT ANYONE (Drew or any of the bleeding hearts) TO DEFEND THIS VIDEO

No, I think VTBalla’s report of driving in Mexico is perfectly accurate, unless you have some nipple tickling experience to the otherwise? It is a shithole cesspool of impossible measure. How do you base your opinion from fucking Finland by the way?
They do not qulify for cash assistance food stamps or masshealth.
Just because they don’t qualify for MassHealth doesn’t mean that they don’t get free health care. Every time they get sick or injured or anything, they go to the emergency room who are required by law to provide services regardless of citizenship or ability to pay. They are billed, bills go unpaid and then the state pays them or the hospital has to write them off and then charge everyone else more.

They do get cash assistance if they have an anchor baby, here in Los Angeles they get $650/month per child. Want more money, just breed.
Is it still so bad for your people Drew? Tell me another country that pays you to trespass?

Yep, one of the many reasons cost of health care is high … it’s not just illegal immigrants, but they make up a large majority
Bottom line …I’ve busted my ass everyday for 32 years to give MY family a better life. To provide for MY family. To Pay for things MY family needs. NOT YOURS. Everyday instead of moving ahead I am being dragged down by F***ing people "deserving " entitlements. I must take two steps forward everyday because I know I will be taxed back one step. Why? To provide for someone that should take care of themselves.
Here’s an idea… Make your own damn country great. Pay taxes there so that you can provide for the people that I don’t want to.
If I must pay for someone pumping out babies for cash than I should be able to claim the little bastards on my taxes.

I live in DC and there are a lot of terrible drivers here too, and yes, I hate them equally. Though, even here in DC (or should I say ESPECIALLY here in DC), I would venture that the majority of them are not WASP’s, if you catch my drift.
I don’t know why you say I have a sense of entitlement like its a bad thing. I think the right to occupy the space that you are occupying on the road without worrying that some shitbag is going to run over you is a fundamental expectation. You can call that entitlement if it really tickles your fancy though.
wow i cant believe i read an entire debate about something that has nothing to do with me…
That being said, i suppose i could consider myself somewhat impartial.
anyway my opinion on the matter is if something is against the law…every effort should be made to enforce that law. So if its illegal to enter…every effort should be made to make it very very difficult to enter.
im pretty sure if the WILL was there, it would be pretty simple to make illegal border crossings almost impossible through increased construction projects/security.
but thats only if the will to do so really existed.
drewh wrote:

Your right, the correct term is criminals.
Perhaps, if you can be so sure they are illegal. Still, criminals are people.
That makes no sense. We are discussing illegal aliens (criminal border jumpers). If they are illegal aliens… I am sure they are illegal aliens.
I don’t think anyone here is saying they aren’t people.
Keep the criminals in their own country.
Mexico has a wealth of natural resources. Mexicans need to get some cajones and get rid of their corrupt government, their entitled wealthy class, and some equality for everyone. All these supposed good workers and noble family men and women should direct all of that wonderfulness in to creating a better future for their country.

I wasn’t questioning his reports on the driving in Mexico, I was mainly wondering about the validity of the conclusions he draws from it re the Mexican mindset.

I never accused you of having a sense of entitlement. Even if you are a crappy driver, all I accused you of is accusing yourself of a sense of entitlement. I’m still skeptical as to whether how someone drives is enough to assess their character. There’s something in operating an automobile that can make assholes of decent people.
