Religion Catch All

That is my exact sentiment about my wife and God.

I’d go for equal. Both are appalling human rights abuses.

Oh boy do I have contempt for the CCP. The way they have fucked the world over so many times in so many ways and that doesn’t even begin to touch their human rights abuses at home.

There is a genius to their quiet, surreptitious method of slow, incremental oppression. I guess there must be ancient, Chinese secret on how you cannot destroy a house at one time without someone noticing, but you can take a little peace at a time until its gone. The people who own the house may not notice, but by the end they may thank you for it.

I do not know if it’s actually true in Asian culture, but there seems to be a patience in their aggressiveness. They won’t drop a bomb on you, they will just sort of fuck you up little by little so you don’t even notice. And by the time they are done, they have plausible deniability… Don’t the Japanese have a saying that means loosely, ā€˜to kill with silent contempt’?

Well, it’s dead now after the church stopped doing it. I don’t particularly have much use for latin. For me, it would just be kinda interesting to see how it looked pre-Vatican 2. Whether or not I have much use for latin, however, it’s damn handy to know especially for us lifting types who want to geek out about muscle fibers and muscle group names.

To the extent I give a shit, which isn’t very much, the same-sex stuff is considered immoral in almost all Christian churches. There’s just no way around it, its condemned in the scriptures cover to cover. No amount of jerry-rigging the text of the Bible is going to change that. It’s not a condemnation of the people, its a ā€˜hate the sin, not the sinner’ circumstance. It’s also not exclusively immoral no matter how much some folks want to make it seem that way. Many things fall into the same ā€˜category’. But I am not God, I ain’t here to judge folks. That’s between them and God. I have my own shit to deal with.

No one outside of the middle east I hope…

Douglas Murray put it best, talking about LGBT, etc. communities. He said, ā€˜it’s not about being equal, it’s about being more…’ That’s about the best way I have heard it put. Because, by all measures, there is equality now. So to justify these organizations’ existence and raise money they have to keep going on something. So it will never be ā€˜equal’ enough, which I suppose, is why they are barring down so hard on the ā€œTā€ part of the equation now. I have heard even a lot of gay people despise that part of the alphabet… hehe, I bet they want to change it to the ā€˜betebet’ 'cause patriarchy.

Which, as once again, Douglas Murray said was ā€˜obvious to everybody up until yesterday’. The man is a word-smith.

It’s working wonders right now! Who doesn’t want to get their ass beaten by a dude with a chain, who dresses like a fat chick with green ā€˜butch’ hair claiming to be non-gender binary. It’s a personal dream of mine!

I don’t want to do it, but more power to those who do. I just don’t care.

You don’t think they learned anything from Lenin, Marx, and Engels?

Absolutely, they learned communism. But they applied it patiently. Get the youth to rise up, riot burn shit down, kill people and wave the little red book, in the case of Mao. Like BLM minus the red book. The other commies were active, Mao was more passive and let everybody else do the work and then he took the rewards… The methodology was an Asian patience thing… I think. I am not sure, just a hypothesis.

Chinese water torture. Enough said lol.

Mao was a celebrated bum and drunken frat party boy when left to his own devices right before the Cultural Revolution. Some even claim it was his wife pulling the strings all the while.

Maybe it’s how a tyrannical system dominated by the matriarchy(obviously I’m not saying a matriarchy would inevitably result in tyranny. Fuck I’m really starting to be really careful about what I write online) would look like. I don’t know either.

Oh man. A multitude of factors.

Borderline evil step brother 4 years older than me. The kinda guy who if my friends were over would come around and slap me around until he had me in tears and then disappear once that had been accomplished.

Not have a mother around. I had a step mother but Moroccan women are not that welcoming to step children.

One of the greatest things that ever happened to me was when my stepbrothers father was murdered and he went back home ended up joining the military for four years.

He wasn’t around for my four years in a high school.

After he got out and came back home. I was taking my younger brother to wrestling. No sport builds character like wrestling. Anyways I was like 24 working a full time job and trying to lift and grapple still too.

I was taking him to 3 practices a week and tournaments on Saturday and Sunday. It was a fucking commitment. Why did I do it? Because thats an older brothers job. I never had that and If I had I would have come into my own so much sooner.

Anyways wrestling sucks and my younger brother got an invite to do something fun with his friends. So naturally my step mother said oh he’s not going today cause of this etc etc.

My step brother who was with us retorted in the cuntiest way possible. ā€œOh looks like you have plenty of time to go to the gym nowā€

I was about 10 feet away from. Calmly I said to him.

ā€œWhen have you ever done anything for him? What have you ever done for himā€

Speaking of my younger brother of course.

He says nothing. But he pulls that classic move. Stare directly into my eyes first man that looks away is the bitch.

Well I don’t divert my gaze. I would die first. So now after an uncomfortable 30 seconds of staring directly into each others eyes he says

ā€œwhat you want to fight or something?ā€

Oh he has no idea how long I’ve wanted to hear that.

But I am not gonna be overly aggressive.

So I said ā€œWhat do you want to do about it?ā€

Which is a win win. He can admit to being scared to fight me or he can engage and get the ass beating that has been coming his way for 10 years"

Of course he doesn’t say either.

He tells me I should just go downstairs and shoot steroids into my ass. Haha.

Which is a punk out if I ever saw one.

But yeah. Long story short having that asshole around didn’t do my self esteem any good. That isn’t even getting to the really fucked up stuff he did.

Yeah, I like to think it made me a more resilient person.

Thats beautiful man. I suffer a lot too and when I am with my girlfriend its so much more tolerable even at its worst.

I am very ashamed to admit what I am about to share.

I watched 30 minute of a fucking Logan Paul podcast.

Apparently he made a tweet ā€œGoing gay for a monthā€ or something to that effect and the community went after him.

So to appease the gay mafia he brought on this former Captain in military Josh Seefried whose gay and apparently was heavily involved with the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell repeal act of 2010.

According to this guy saying ā€œGoing gay for a monthā€ is not an acceptable joke. I could only watch like 25 % of the podcast but it was ridiculous. This policing of speech.

The best was wen Logan Paul tried to use Joe Rogan as an example for saying the same thing and not getting any backlash and this dude was like ā€œShame on you for trying to deflect for the horrible thing you did.ā€

You can’t compromise with these people. You give them an inch they take a mile.

Gonna have to check this Douglas Murray fellow out. I know he recently was on the JRE but I’ve yet to watch it. To be honest. His face. It kinda looked funny in the thumbnail on youtube.

@pat @chris_ottawa
I grew up with many East Asians And one of my closest friends of 32 years is Korean American who I speak to near daily. They are patient, sacrificial, focused, disciplined, and intelligent. They aren’t easily distracted and don’t engage in the navel gazing and pointless activities and mental and intellectual mumbo jumbo that the average Western yokel does. All this makes an effective formula. (Am I allowed to compliment people in this day and age?)

@pat you are onto the correct observation that liberalism/progressivism is a religion or like a religion. Because man evolved to be religious, if religion is attacked or destroyed he is most likely to replace it with something else for a new guiding doctrine. That’s why the notion ā€œI don’t judgeā€ is irrelevant because liberalism involves a whole lot of Criticism and judgement.

I don’t know, sounds kind of racist

Indeed. I remember I even had mild push back for ADMIRATION.

If you’re talking about the Asian thing, you are probably just oversensitive.

All I was saying was that people of any race or culture who have the balls, drive and foresight to uproot themselves and their families to seek out a better life overseas are naturally the kind of people who will be successful and responsible, which would lead to nurturing good offspring. It has nothing to do with being Asian or any other race.

And there are good and terrible things about every culture.

I further told you that ALL Caucasian expatriates I know in my country are earning way above average income and have kids studying at expensive international schools. Should I, then, assume that Western culture is far better than Asian culture?

I grew up around degenerates, drug addicts and whores and street gangs and half of my friends I left behind when I left ended up doing drugs and jail time. All were Chinese living in a traditional Chinese society.

Not necessarily. I can think of a few examples, such as Mara Salvatrucha/MS-13.

White people who move overseas usually have money and can make money, I never heard of any poor white Canadians moving to another country.

In modern Chinese society they might end up in a reeeducation camp or have their organs harvested, so maybe the traditional way is better.

The saddest statement on-line. ā€œā€™m really starting to be really careful about what I write onlineā€ ← Yup, but you have to. I feel a little safer here than most places, but still. I hope that I am not over estimating my safety here, but I feel like T-nation won’t sell me out. Basically, my personal rule is to treat this as if it were face to face. I feel confident most things I say, I would say directly to someone. But I am sure I’ve fucked up plenty, so take it with a grain of salt.

He was all that, but more importantly, he was successful. I don’t know to what degree his wife was involved, but he loved his job. No doubt about that. He got off on people suffering.

I can contest this by my observation of them versus other groups. There are studies but living in NYC, particularly Northeastern Queens, I didn’t need studies and I lived in the most diverse borough in all of the US.

I’m well aware of Asian immigrants with social problems and gang membership. Perhaps you are familliar with the Tongs and associated gangs. We had those in NYC too. And not every Asian I grew up with was headed to MIT or cooped up in AP classes in the late afternoon.

I won’t comment on race, nor will I refer to people who explicitly do. Perhaps Jordan Peterson can be safely referred to because he’s socially acceptable and people who can read between the lines know what he likely thinks. He slipped once by commenting on the peculiar characteristics of us Jews that makes us a tiny yet relatively influential and high-earning minority and over represented in some places.

You’re receiving the cream of the crop from the West. We receive the cream of the crop and all the rest. However if you were to think the West is superior then I would just consider that’s your conviction.

This isn’t the conclusion I have come to. I think he is popular because he is controversial. I like some of his ideas, but others not so much. I watched a debate or two where he was a participant. I had a hard time understanding his positions (although I think he was a bit better at articulating his points before his detox with experimental drugs in Russia).

He’s popular because he’s right and he knows how to articulate his thoughts in such a way as to express what many already know, but cannot express. And he has the data and credentials to back it up.

Watch his debate with Matt Dillahunty. IMO, he did not express himself well. Many of the comments (in the YouTube comments section) are to the effect of what the hell was Jordan talking about. It is almost impossible to understand what his position is.

You don’t necessarily have to think Peterson lost the debate to acknowledge he was really hard to understand. I found myself having to rewind a bunch just to figure out what he was saying.

IIRC, this debate was shortly after his detox in Russia, so that could have had something to do with it. Many said the controversial treatments he received did negatively impact his cognition. I am not convinced of that just because he seemed to get harder to understand after. Only a possibility.

On some things. Others he may be right, but I have caught him supporting ideas using faulty reasoning, so I can’t determine if he is correct by his arguments.

No, only a racist would do that…

The atheists got their wish. They removed God, but what they didn’t count on is that it’s didn’t get replaced with ā€œreasonā€, or their idea of what reason is. It got replace with unhinged crazy non-sense. I am sayin ā€˜unhinged’ a lot, I need more adjectives to describe the loony-left. Reason left the building with God…
